Udział przywozu z ChRL w rynku Wspólnoty przebiegał astępująco: z 21,3% w 1993 r. na 16% 1994 r., na 17,1% w 1995 r., na 23,2% w 1996 r., na 26,2% w 1997 r. i na 31,3% w 1998 r. Odpowiada to ogólnemu wzrostowi o 10 punktów w badanym okresie.

The share of the Community market held by the imports from the PRC developed from 21,3 % in 1993, to 16 % in 1994, to 17,1 in 1995, to 23,2 % in 1996, to 26,2 % in 1997 and to 31,3 % in 1998. This is equivalent to an overall increase of 10 points over the period examined.

W odpowiedzi na kryzysy humanitarne w 2005 r. DG ECHO podjęło działania w formie 91 decyzji o przeznaczeniu środków finansowych w wysokości 652,5 mln EUR, z czego 629,33 mln EUR pochodziło z budżetu Komisji, a 23,2 mln EUR z EFR. Przeznaczone środki zostały wykorzystane w 100%. Największym odbiorcą pomocy były kraje Afryki, Karaibów i Pacyfiku (244,2 mln EUR), a następnie Azji (239,25 mln EUR – w tym działania po uderzeniu tsunami). W poniższej tabeli przedstawiono, w jaki sposób decyzje o pomocy humanitarnej przyjęte w 2005 r. rozkładały się pod względem geograficznym (kwoty w milionach euro):

DG ECHO's response to humanitarian crises in 2005 was channelled through 91 funding decisions amounting to EUR 652.5 million: EUR 629.33 million was financed from the Commission's budget and EUR 23.2 million was drawn from the EDF. The implementation of the commitment appropriations was 100%. ACP countries were the biggest recipients of aid (EUR 244.2 million), followed closely by Asia (EUR 239.25 million – tsunami operations included). The table below gives an overview of the geographical distribution of the humanitarian aid decisions adopted in 2005 (amounts in million euros):

Zmniejszenie udziału w rynku w 1994 i 1995 r. można wyjaśnić zarówno wprowadzeniem środków antydumpingowych w marcu 1994 r., jak i chińskiego systemu licencji wywozowych wprowadzonego w kwietniu 1994 r.

The decrease in market share in 1994 and 1995 can be explained by both the introduction of the anti-dumping measures in March 1994 and the Chinese export licence system introduced in April 1994.

(169) Trendy i liczby bezwzględne są porównywalne to tych analizowanych na etapie tymczasowym: wielkość przywozu zwiększyła się ponad dwukrotnie, a udział w rynku zwiększył się bardzo znacząco, z 9,3% w 2001 r. do 23,2% podczas OD. Należy odnotować występowanie znacznej zbieżności pomiędzy rokiem 2004 a OD (od kwietnia 2004 r. do marca 2005 r.), zatem powyższa tabela wskazuje, że nastąpiło zwiększenie przywozu podczas pierwszego kwartału 2005 r. Jak widać z powyższej tabeli, trend ten jest spowodowany przede wszystkim wzrostem chińskiego przywozu.

The trends and absolute figures are comparable to those analysed at provisional stage: the import volume more than doubled, and the market share significantly expanded from 9,3% in 2001 to 23,2% during the IP. It should be noted that there is a significant overlap between 2004 and IP (April 2004 to March 2005), and therefore the above table shows that there was an acceleration of imports during the first quarter of 2005. As can be seen from the above table, this is particularly due to the development of the Chinese imports.
