ምላስንና ሁለት ከንፈሮችንም ፡ ፡
and a tongue , and two lips ,

ለእርሱ ሁለት ዓይኖችን አላደረግንለትምን ?
have we not , made for him two eyes

በሁለቱ ውስጥ የሚፈስሱ ሁለት ምንጮች አልሉ ፡ ፡
in both of them , there are two springs flowing .

ከእርሱም ሁለት ዓይነቶችን ወንድና ሴትን አደረገ ፡ ፡
and assigned it sexes , male and female .

በጌታውም ፊት መቆምን ለፈራ ሰው ሁለት ገነቶች አልሉት ፡ ፡
those who fear their lord will have two gardens

የአቡ ለሀብ ሁለት እጆች ከሰሩ ( ጠፉ ፤ እርሱ ) ከሰረም ፡ ፡
may the hands of abu lahab perish !

ትገነዘቡም ዘንድ ከነገሩ ሁሉ ሁለት ( ተቃራኒ ) ዓይነትን ፈጠርን ፡ ፡
we have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed .

የሚሉ ታላላቅ ድምፆች ሆኑ። በእግዚአብሔርም ፊት በዙፋኖቻቸው የተቀመጡ ሀያ አራቱ ሽማግሌዎች በግምባራቸው ተደፍተው
and the four and twenty elders, which sat before god on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped god,

በዙፋኑ ዙሪያም ሀያ አራት ዙፋኖች ነበሩ፥ በዙፋኖቹም ላይ ነጭ ልብስ ለብሰው በራሳቸውም የወርቅ አክሊል ደፍተው ሀያ አራት ሽማግሌዎች ተቀምጠው ነበር።
and round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats i saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

መጽሐፉንም በወሰደ ጊዜ አራቱ እንስሶችና ሀያ አራቱ ሽማግሌዎች በበጉ ፊት ወደቁ፥ እያንዳንዳቸውም በገናንና የቅዱሳን ጸሎት የሆነ ዕጣን የሞላበትን የወርቅ ዕቃ ያዙ።
and when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

ሀያ አራቱም ሽማግሌዎችና አራቱ እንስሶች በፊታቸው ተደፍተው በዙፋኑ ላይ ለተቀመጠው ለእግዚአብሔር። አሜን፥ ሃሌ ሉያ እያሉ ሰገዱለት።
and the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped god that sat on the throne, saying, amen; alleluia.

ሀያ አራቱ ሽማግሌዎች በዙፋን ላይ በተቀመጠው ፊት ወድቀው፥ ከዘላለም እስከ ዘላለም በሕይወት ለሚኖረው እየሰገዱ። ጌታችንና አምላካችን ሆይ፥ አንተ ሁሉን ፈጥረሃልና ስለ ፈቃድህም ሆነዋልና ተፈጥረውማልና ክብር ውዳሴ ኃይልም ልትቀበል ይገባሃል እያሉ በዙፋኑ ፊት አክሊላቸውን ያኖራሉ።
the four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
