እኛም የምናስፈራራቸውን ነገር ልናሳይህ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

or if we shew thee that wherewith we threaten them , verily we are going to prevail over them .
ወይም ያንን የቀጠርናቸውን ብናሳይህ እኛ በእነርሱ ( ቅጣት ) ላይ ቻይዎች ነን ፡ ፡

or ( if ) we show you that wherewith we threaten them , then verily , we have perfect command over them .
ወይም ያንን የቀጠርናቸውን ብናሳይህ እኛ በእነርሱ ( ቅጣት ) ላይ ቻይዎች ነን ፡ ፡

and they threaten you with others beside him ! and whomever allah sends astray – there is no guide for him .
አላህ ባሪያውን በቂ አይደለምን ? በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ሌላ በኾኑትም ( ጣዖታት ) ያስፈራሩሃል ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚያጠመውም ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡

they said , ‘ have you come to turn us away from our gods ? then bring us what you threaten us with , if you are truthful .
« ከአማልክቶቻችን ልታዞረን መጣህብን ? ከውነተኞቹም እንደኾንክ የምትዝትብንን ( ቅጣት ) አምጣው » አሉ ፡ ፡

they said , " have you come to turn us away from our gods ? show us that with which you threaten us if you are truthful " .
« ከአማልክቶቻችን ልታዞረን መጣህብን ? ከውነተኞቹም እንደኾንክ የምትዝትብንን ( ቅጣት ) አምጣው » አሉ ፡ ፡

and if we show you something of what we threaten them with , or cause you to die , yet to us is their return , and allah is the bearer of witness to what they do .
የዚያንም የምናስፈራራቸውን ከፊሉን ( በሕይወትህ ) ብናሳይህ ( መልካም ነው ) ፡ ፡ ወይም ( ሳናሳይህ ) ብንገድልህ መመለሻቸው ወደ እኛ ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አላህ በሚሠሩት ስራ ላይ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

surely you have disputed with us and have prolonged your dispute . now bring upon us the chastisement that you threaten us with ; do so , if you are truthful . '
« ኑህ ሆይ ! በእርግጥ ተከራከርከን ፡ ፡ እኛን መከራከርህንም አበዛኸው ፡ ፡ ከእውነተኞቹም እንደሆንክ የምታስፈራራብንን ቅጣት አምጣው » አሉ ፡

so be patient , surely the promise of allah is true . so should we make you see part of what we threaten them with , or should we cause you to die , to us shall they be returned .
ታገስም የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነውና ፡ ፡ የዚያንም የምናስፈራራቸውን ከፊሉን ( በሕይወትህ ) ብናሳይህ ( መልካም ነው ) ፡ ፡ ወይም ብንገድልህ ወደኛ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

but they said , " have you come to us to turn us away from our deities ? then bring down upon us what you threaten us with , if you are truthful . "
« ከአማልክቶቻችን ልታዞረን መጣህብን ? ከውነተኞቹም እንደኾንክ የምትዝትብንን ( ቅጣት ) አምጣው » አሉ ፡ ፡

and do not lie in wait on every road to threaten and bar those who have faith in him from the way of allah , seeking to make it crooked . remember when you were few , and he multiplied you , and observe how was the fate of the agents of corruption .
« ( ሰዎችን ) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ ፡ ፡ »

" noah , " they replied , " you have argued with us , and argued to excess . now bring down upon us what you threaten us with , if you speak the truth ! ? "
« ኑህ ሆይ ! በእርግጥ ተከራከርከን ፡ ፡ እኛን መከራከርህንም አበዛኸው ፡ ፡ ከእውነተኞቹም እንደሆንክ የምታስፈራራብንን ቅጣት አምጣው » አሉ ፡
