ये ख़ुदा की आयतें हैं जो हम तुमको ठीक पढ़ के सुनाते हैं और ख़ुदा सारे जहॉन के लोगों पर जुल्म करना नहीं चाहता

तुम कह दो कि तुम लोग ख्वाह ख़ुशी से खर्च करो या मजबूरी से तुम्हारी ख़ैरात तो कभी कुबूल की नहीं जाएगी तुम यक़ीनन बदकार लोग हो

and recall what time ye implored our lord and he answered you : verily i am about to succour you with a thousand of angels rank in rank .
जब तुम अपने परवदिगार से फरियाद कर रहे थे उसने तुम्हारी सुन ली और जवाब दे दिया कि मैं तुम्हारी लगातार हज़ार फ़रिश्तों से मदद करूँगा

kill not your children for fear of want : we shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you . verily the killing of them is a great sin .
और मुफलिसी के ख़ौफ से अपनी औलाद को क़त्ल न करो उनको और तुम को तो हम ही रोज़ी देते हैं बेशक औलाद का क़त्ल करना बहुत सख्त गुनाह है

nothing is said to you except what was said to the messengers before you . verily , your lord is the possessor of forgiveness , and the possessor of painful punishment .
तुम्हें बस वही कहा जा रहा है , जो उन रसूलों को कहा जा चुका है , जो तुमसे पहले गुज़र चुके है । निस्संदेह तुम्हारा रब बड़ा क्षमाशील है और दुखद दंड देनेवाला भी

and when ye are journeying in the earth there shall be no fault in you that ye shorten the prayer if ye fear that those who disbelieve shall molest you , verily the infidels are ever unto you an avowed enemy .
और तुमको इस अम्र का ख़ौफ़ हो कि कुफ्फ़ार तुमसे फ़साद करेंगे तो उसमें तुम्हारे वास्ते कुछ मुज़ाएक़ा नहीं कि नमाज़ में कुछ कम कर दिया करो बेशक कुफ्फ़ार तो तुम्हारे ख़ुल्लम ख़ुल्ला दुश्मन हैं

say : " do you verily disbelieve in him who created the earth in two days and you set up rivals with him ? that is the lord of the ' alamin .
कहो , " क्या तुम उसका इनकार करते हो , जिसने धरती को दो दिनों में पैदा किया और तुम उसके समकक्ष ठहराते हो ? वह तो सारे संसार का रब है

and fulfil the covenant of allahs when ye have covenanted , and violate not the oaths after the ratification thereof , and surely ye have appointed allah a surety over you . verily allah knoweth that which ye do :
और जब तुम लोग बाहम क़ौल व क़रार कर लिया करो तो ख़ुदा के एहदो पैमान को पूरा करो और क़समों को उनके पक्का हो जाने के बाद न तोड़ा करो हालॉकि तुम तो ख़ुदा को अपना ज़ामिन बना चुके हो जो कुछ भी तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उसे ज़रुर जानता है

then , when the bringer of the glad tidings came , he cast it upon his face and he became clear - sighted . he said : said i not unto you , verily i know from allah that which ye know not .
फिर जब शुभ सूचना देनेवाला आया तो उसने उस को उसके मुँह पर डाल दिया और तत्क्षण उसकी नेत्र - ज्योति लौट आई । उसने कहा , " क्या मैंने तुमसे कहा नहीं था कि अल्लाह की ओर से जो मैं जानता हूँ , तुम नहीं जानते । "

इन मुशरिकों को किसी संधि की कोई ज़िम्मेदारी अल्लाह और उसके रसूल पर कैसे बाक़ी रह सकती है ? - उन लोगों का मामला इससे अलग है , जिनसे तुमने मस्जिदे हराम के पास संधि की थी , तो जब तक वे तुम्हारे साथ सीधे रहें , तब तक तुम भी उनके साथ सीधे रहो । निश्चय ही अल्लाह को डर रखनेवाले प्रिय है । -

and when they fall in with those who believe , they say : we believe ; but when they go apart to their devils they declare : lo ! we are with you ; verily we did but mock .
और जब उन लोगों से मिलते हैं जो ईमान ला चुके तो कहते हैं हम तो ईमान ला चुके और जब अपने शैतानों के साथ तनहा रह जाते हैं तो कहते हैं हम तुम्हारे साथ हैं हम तो बनाते हैं
