have you not seen those who exchanged the favor of allah with disbelief and landed their nation in a house of ruin?
அல்லாஹ் (அருள் கொடைகளை) நிஃமத்களை(த் தம்) குஃப்ரைக் கொண்டு மாற்றித் தங்கள் கூட்டத்தாரையும் அழிவு வீட்டில் நுழையும்படி செய்தவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

have you not seen those who exchanged the blessing of god with blasphemy, and landed their people into the house of perdition?
அல்லாஹ் (அருள் கொடைகளை) நிஃமத்களை(த் தம்) குஃப்ரைக் கொண்டு மாற்றித் தங்கள் கூட்டத்தாரையும் அழிவு வீட்டில் நுழையும்படி செய்தவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

but we did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (the muslims).
எனவே, அதில் முஸ்லிம்களிலிருந்து ஒரு வீட்டாரைத் தவிர, ஒருவரையும் நாம் காணவில்லை.

have you not regarded those who have changed allah’s blessing with ingratitude, and landed their people in the house of ruin?
அல்லாஹ் (அருள் கொடைகளை) நிஃமத்களை(த் தம்) குஃப்ரைக் கொண்டு மாற்றித் தங்கள் கூட்டத்தாரையும் அழிவு வீட்டில் நுழையும்படி செய்தவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

do they envy others because of what god has given them out of his bounty? we granted the house of abraham the book and wisdom and we granted them a great kingdom.
அல்லாஹ் தன் அருளினால் மனிதர்களுக்கு வழங்கியவற்றின்மீது இவர்கள் பொறாமை கொள்கின்றார்களா? இன்னும் நாம் நிச்சயமாக இப்றாஹீமின் சந்ததியினருக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கொடுத்தோம்;. அத்துடன் மாபெரும் அரசாங்கத்தையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தோம்.

indeed, the first house [of worship] established for mankind was that at makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
(இறை வணக்கத்திற்கென) மனிதர்களுக்காக வைக்கப் பெற்ற முதல் வீடு நிச்சயமாக பக்காவில் (மக்காவில்) உள்ளதுதான். அது பரக்கத்து (பாக்கியம்) மிக்கதாகவும், உலக மக்கள் யாவருக்கும் நேர்வழியாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

the first house (of worship) appointed for men was that at bakka: full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:
(இறை வணக்கத்திற்கென) மனிதர்களுக்காக வைக்கப் பெற்ற முதல் வீடு நிச்சயமாக பக்காவில் (மக்காவில்) உள்ளதுதான். அது பரக்கத்து (பாக்கியம்) மிக்கதாகவும், உலக மக்கள் யாவருக்கும் நேர்வழியாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

that is the reward of the enemies of allah-- the fire; for them therein shall be the house of long abiding; a reward for their denying our communications.
அதுவேதான் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பகைவர்களுக்குள்ள கூலியாகும் - அதாவது நரகம் நம் வசனங்களை அவர்கள் நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் கூலியாக அவர்களுக்கு நிரந்தரமான வீடு அ(ந்நரகத்)தில் உண்டு.

and recall what time we delivered you from the house of fir'awn perpetrating on you terrible torment, slaying your sons and letting your women live, and therein was a trial from your lord, tremendous.
இன்னும் நினைவு கூறுங்கள்; ஃபிர்அவ்னின் கூட்டத்தாரிடமிருந்து நாம் உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றினோம்; அவர்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கொடிய வேதனைகளைக் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்கள் ஆண் மக்களைக் கொலை செய்துவிட்டு, (உங்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்துவதற்காக) உங்கள் பெண் மக்களை உயிருடன் வாழவிட்டார்கள்; இதில் உங்களுக்கு உஙகள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு பெரும் சோதனை ஏற்பட்டிருந்தது.

behold, the first house (of prayer) established for mankind is the one at bakkah: it is full of blessing and a centre of guidance for the whole world.
