abraham said, "indeed, you and your fathers have been clearly misguided."
(அதற்கு) அவர், "நிச்சயமாக நீங்களும், உங்களுடைய மூதாதையவரும் - பகிரங்கமான வழி கேட்டில் தான் இருந்து வருகிறீர்கள் என்று கூறினர்.

abraham said: "who despairs of the mercy of his lord except the misguided?"
"வழிகெட்டவர்களைத் தவிர, வேறெவர் தம் இறைவனுடைய அருளைப்பற்றி நிராசைக் கொள்வர்" என்று (இப்ராஹீம் பதில்) சொன்னார்,

surely, you shall have no power over my true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you.
"நிச்சயமாக என் அடியார்கள் மீது உனக்கு எவ்வித அதிகாரமும் இல்லை - உன்னைப் பின்பற்றி வழிகெட்டவர்களைத் தவிர" என்று கூறினான்.

“those whose efforts in this world are misguided, while they assume that they are doing well.”
யாருடைய முயற்சி இவ்வுலக வாழ்வில் பயனற்றுப் போயிருக்க தாங்கள் மெய்யாகவே அழகான காரியங்களையே செய்வதாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தான்.

so let them carry their loads complete on the day of resurrection, and some of the loads of those they misguided without knowledge. evil is what they carry.
கியாம நாளில் அவர்கள், தங்கள் (பாவச்) சுமைகளை முழுமையாக சுமக்கட்டும்; மேலும் அறிவில்லாமல் இவர்கள் எவர்களை வழி கெடுத்தார்களோ, அவர்களுடைய (பாவச்) சுமைகளையும் (சுமக்கட்டும்) இவர்கள் (சுமக்கும்) சுமை மிகவும் கெட்டதல்லவா?.

believers, take care of your own souls. the misguided cannot harm you as long as you are guided. all of you will return to god. then he will make you realize that which you used to do.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! (வழி தவறிவிடாமல் நீங்களே) உங்களைப் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. நீங்கள் நேர்வழியைப் பின்பற்றுவீர்களானால், வழி தவறியவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு தீங்கும் செய்ய முடியாது. அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கமே நீங்கள் அனைவரும் மீள வேண்டியிருக்கின்றது. நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றையெல்லாம், அப்போது அவன் உங்களுக்கு உணர்த்துவான்.

and who is more misguided than one who invokes, besides god, such as will not answer him until the day of resurrection, and who [in fact] are not even aware of his call,
கியாம நாள்வரை (அழைத்தாலும்) தனக்கு பதில் கொடுக்க மாட்டாத - அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவர்களை அழைப்பவர்களைவிட வழி கெட்டவர்கள் யார்? தங்களை அழைப்பதையே அவர்கள் அறியமுடியாது.

the postponement of sacred months is an increase in disbelief in which the unbelievers are misguided. they allow it one year and forbid it another year, so that they can make up for the months that allah has sanctified so making lawful what allah has forbidden. their foul acts seem fair to them allah does not guide the unbelievers.

and thus we showed abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, so that he might become one of those who have sure faith.. the adversaries are told that they can observe god's signs in the phenomena of the universe, just as abraham could. the difference is that they see nothing, as if they were blind, whereas abraham saw with open eyes. the sun, moon and stars which rise and set before their eyes day after day and night after night witness them as misguided at their setting as at their rising. yet the same signs were observed by the perceptive abraham, and the physical phenomena helped him arrive at the truth.
