(நபியே!) அவர்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றிடவேண்டுமென்று நீர் பேராவல் கொண்ட போதிலும், அல்லாஹ் யாரை வழிதவற வைத்தானோ அத்தகையோரை நேர்வழியில் சேர்க்க மாட்டான் - இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வோரும் எவருமில்லை.
assuredly there hath come unto you an apostle from amongst yourselves: heavy upon him is that which harasseth you, solicitous for you, and with the believers tender and merciful.
(முஃமின்களே!) நிச்சயமாக உங்களிலிருந்தே ஒரு தூதர் உங்களிடம் வந்திருக்கின்றார்; நீங்கள் துன்பத்திற்குள்ளாகி விட்டால், அது அவருக்கு மிக்க வருத்தத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றது அன்றி, உங்(கள் நன்மை)களையே அவர் பெரிதும் விரும்புகிறார்; இன்னும் முஃமின்கள் மீது மிக்க கருணையும் கிருபையும் உடையவராக இருக்கின்றார்.
certainly an apostle has come to you from among yourselves; grievous to him is your falling into distress, excessively solicitous respecting you; to the believers (he is) compassionate,
(முஃமின்களே!) நிச்சயமாக உங்களிலிருந்தே ஒரு தூதர் உங்களிடம் வந்திருக்கின்றார்; நீங்கள் துன்பத்திற்குள்ளாகி விட்டால், அது அவருக்கு மிக்க வருத்தத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றது அன்றி, உங்(கள் நன்மை)களையே அவர் பெரிதும் விரும்புகிறார்; இன்னும் முஃமின்கள் மீது மிக்க கருணையும் கிருபையும் உடையவராக இருக்கின்றார்.
