நீர் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பவரேயன்றி வேறு அல்லர்.

நீங்கள் இருக்கும் விதத்தில் நான் உன்னை நேசிக்கிறேன்

you are but a warner for those who fear it.
அதை பயப்படுவோருக்கு, நிச்சயமாக நீர் எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர் தாம்,

we are nearer to it than you are, but you do not see.
ஆயினும், நாமோ அவனுக்கு உங்களை விட சமீபமாக இருக்கிறோம். எனினும் நீங்கள் பார்க்கிறீர்களில்லை.

you are not what you think, you are but what you think you are
நீங்கள் என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்களோ அது நீங்கள் அல்ல, ஆனால் நீங்கள் என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்கள்

"you are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars!
"எனவே, நீர் உண்மை சொல்பவராக இருந்தால், வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு துண்டை எங்கள் மீது விழும்படிச் செய்யும்."

"you are but a human being like us. then bring us a sign if you are of the truthful."
அவர் சொன்னார்; "இதோ (அத்தாட்சியாக) ஒரு பெண் ஒட்டகம்! (கிணற்றிலிருந்து) அதற்கு (ஒரு நாள்) தண்ணீர் குடிப்புண்டு உங்களுக்கும் குறிப்படப்பட்ட ஒரு நாளில் தண்ணீர் அருந்தும் முறை வரும்."

and why should you not eat of that over which the name of allah has been pronounced when he has already made plain to you what is forbidden, except when you are constrained? many are those who mislead through ignorance on account of their fancies, but your lord best knows the transgressors.
அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயர் கூறி (உங்களுக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டவற்றில்) அறுக்கப்பட்டதை நீங்கள் சாப்பிடாமலிருக்க என்ன (தடை) இருக்கிறது? நீங்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்டாலன்றி சாப்பிட உங்களுக்கு விலக்கப்பட்டவை எவை என்பதை அல்லாஹ் விவரித்துக் கூறியுள்ளான் - ஆனால் பெரும்பாலோர், அறியாமையின் காரணமாகத் தங்களுடைய மன இச்சைகளின் பிரகாரம் (மனிதர்களை) வழி கெடுக்கிறார்கள்; வரம்பு மீறிச்செல்பவர்களை நிச்சயமாக உம் இறைவன் நன்கு அறிகிறான்.

so whatsoever things are vouchsafed unto you are but a passing enjoyment for the life of the world, and that which is with allah, better and more lasting, is for those who believe and in their lord put their trust.
ஆகவே, உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப் பட்டிருப்பதெல்லாம், இவ்வுலக வாழ்ககையின் (அற்ப) சுகங்களேயாகும்; ஈமான் கொண்டு, தங்கள் இறைவனையே முற்றிலும் நம்பியிருப்பவர்களுக்கு, அல்லாஹ்விடம் இருப்பது மிகவும் மேலானதும் நிலையானதுமாகும்.

when we substitute one revelation for another, and god knows best what he reveals, they say, "you are but a fabricator." indeed, most of them have no knowledge.
(நபியே!) நாம் ஒரு வசனத்தை மற்றொரு வசனத்தின் இடத்தில் மாற்றினால், (உம்மிடம்) "நிச்சயமாக நீர் இட்டுக்கட்டுபவராக இருக்கின்றீர்" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; எ(ந்த நேரத்தில், எ)தை இறக்க வேண்டுமென்பதை அல்லாஹ்வே நன்கறிந்தவன், எனினும் அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இவ்வுண்மையை) அறிய மாட்டார்கள்.

and to ad their brother hood; he said, 'o my people, serve god! you have no god other than he; you are but forgers.
ஆது' சமூகத்தாரிடம், அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர் ஹூதை (நம் தூதராக அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்); அவர் சொன்னார்; "என்னுடைய சமூகத்தாரே! அல்லாஹ்வையே நீங்கள் வணங்குங்கள், அவனன்றி (வேறு) இறைவன் உங்களுக்கு இல்லை; நீங்கள் பொய்யர்களாகவே தவிர வேறில்லை.

and how is it that you do not eat of that over which allah's name has been pronounced even though he has clearly spelled out to you what he has forbidden you unless you are constrained to it? many indeed say misleading things without knowledge, driven merely by their lowly desires. but your lord knows well the transgressors.
அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயர் கூறி (உங்களுக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டவற்றில்) அறுக்கப்பட்டதை நீங்கள் சாப்பிடாமலிருக்க என்ன (தடை) இருக்கிறது? நீங்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்டாலன்றி சாப்பிட உங்களுக்கு விலக்கப்பட்டவை எவை என்பதை அல்லாஹ் விவரித்துக் கூறியுள்ளான் - ஆனால் பெரும்பாலோர், அறியாமையின் காரணமாகத் தங்களுடைய மன இச்சைகளின் பிரகாரம் (மனிதர்களை) வழி கெடுக்கிறார்கள்; வரம்பு மீறிச்செல்பவர்களை நிச்சயமாக உம் இறைவன் நன்கு அறிகிறான்.

'yes, indeed' they will reply, 'but we belied the warner (messenger) saying: 'allah has not sent down anything, you are but in great error'
அதற்கவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்; "ஆம்! அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவர் திட்டமாக எங்களிடம் வந்தார், ஆனால் நாங்கள் (அவரைப்) பொய்ப்பித்து, 'அல்லாஹ் யாதொன்றையும் இறக்கவில்லை, நீங்கள் பெரும் வழிகேட்டில் அல்லாமல் வேறில்லை" என்று சொன்னோம்."
