moses said, "i did do it and i made a mistake.

and i did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship me.
และข้ามิได้สร้างญิน และมนุษย์เพื่ออื่นใด เว้นแต่เพื่อเคารพภักดีต่อข้า

"surely, i did believe that i shall meet my account!"
ความจริงฉันนึกทีเดียวว่า ฉันจะได้พบบัญชีของฉัน

he said: i did it then, when i was of those who are astray.
เขา (มูซา) กล่าวว่า ฉันได้กระทำมันโดยที่ฉันไม่รู้

for all his judgments were before me, and i did not put away his statutes from me.
เพราะคำตัดสินทั้งสิ้นของพระองค์อยู่ต่อหน้าข้าพเจ้า และข้าพเจ้ามิได้ผลักกฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ไปเล

said he, 'indeed i did it then, being one of those that stray;
เขา (มูซา) กล่าวว่า ฉันได้กระทำมันโดยที่ฉันไม่รู้

(moses) replied: "i did do that and i was in the wrong,
เขา (มูซา) กล่าวว่า ฉันได้กระทำมันโดยที่ฉันไม่รู้

"i did really understand that my account would (one day) reach me!"
ความจริงฉันนึกทีเดียวว่า ฉันจะได้พบบัญชีของฉัน

[moses] said, "i did it, then, while i was of those astray.
เขา (มูซา) กล่าวว่า ฉันได้กระทำมันโดยที่ฉันไม่รู้

his companion will say: our lord! i did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error.
(ชัยฏอน) สหายของเขากล่าวว่า ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเรา ข้าพระองค์มิได้ทำให้เขาหลงผิดดอกแต่ทว่าเขาได้อยู่ในการหลงผิดมาก่อนแล้ว

and his companion shall say: 'our lord, i did not make him insolent, he was far astray'
(ชัยฏอน) สหายของเขากล่าวว่า ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเรา ข้าพระองค์มิได้ทำให้เขาหลงผิดดอกแต่ทว่าเขาได้อยู่ในการหลงผิดมาก่อนแล้ว

he (moses) replied: 'indeed, i did that when i was among those who stray.
เขา (มูซา) กล่าวว่า ฉันได้กระทำมันโดยที่ฉันไม่รู้

his companion will say: "o lord, i did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray."
(ชัยฏอน) สหายของเขากล่าวว่า ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเรา ข้าพระองค์มิได้ทำให้เขาหลงผิดดอกแต่ทว่าเขาได้อยู่ในการหลงผิดมาก่อนแล้ว

but if you turn back, i did not ask for any reward from you; my reward is only with allah, and i am commanded that i should be of those who submit.
“หากพวกท่านผินหลังให้ ฉันมิได้ขอค่าตอบแทนใดๆ จากพวกท่าน แต่รางวัลของฉันอยู่ที่อัลลอฮฺ และฉันถูกใช้ให้อยู่ในหมู่ผู้นอบน้อม”

"it would not be reasonable in me if i did not serve him who created me, and to whom ye shall (all) be brought back.
และทำไมเล่าฉันจะไม่เคารพภักดีผู้ทรงบังเกิดฉัน และยังพระองค์เท่านั้นที่พวกท่านจะถูกนำกลับไป

i did not call them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor their own creation. i would not take as helpers those who lead (men) astray.
ข้ามิได้เอาพวกมันมาเป็นพยาน ในการสร้างชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลายและแผ่นดิน แม้ในการสร้างตัวพวกมันเอง และข้ามิได้เอาพวกที่ทำให้ผู้อื่นหลงผิดมาให้ความช่วยเหลือ

and his associate [satan] will say, "lord, i did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself."
(ชัยฏอน) สหายของเขากล่าวว่า ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของเรา ข้าพระองค์มิได้ทำให้เขาหลงผิดดอกแต่ทว่าเขาได้อยู่ในการหลงผิดมาก่อนแล้ว
