tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
ท่านที่อยากอยู่ใต้พระราชบัญญัติ ท่านไม่ได้ฟังพระราชบัญญัติหรือ จงบอกข้าพเจ้าเถิ

but if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which i have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:
แต่ถ้าเจ้าหันไปจากการติดตามเรา ตัวเจ้าเองหรือลูกหลานของเจ้าก็ดี และมิได้รักษาบัญญัติของเราและกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา ซึ่งเราได้ตั้งไว้ต่อหน้าเจ้า แต่ไปปรนนิบัติพระอื่นและนมัสการพระนั้

and when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "o my son, i have seen in a dream that i am sacrificing you. so tell me what you think of it!" he replied, "o my father, do as you are commanded; and god willing, you will find me steadfast."
ครั้นเมื่อเขา (อิสมาอีล) เติบโตขึ้นไปไหนมาไหนกับเขา (อิบรอฮีม) ได้แล้ว อิบรอฮีมได้กล่าวขึ้นว่า “โอ้ลูกเอ๋ย ! แท้จริงพ่อได้เห็นในขณะฝันว่า พ่อได้เชือดเจ้า จงคิดดูซิว่าเจ้าจะเห็นเป็นอย่างไร? “ เขากล่าวว่า “โอ่พ่อจ๋า! พ่อจงปฏิบัติตามที่พ่อได้ถูกบัญชามาเถิด หากอัลลอฮฺทรงประสงค์ พ่อจะเห็นฉันว่า ฉันอยู่ในหมู่ผู้มีความอดทน”
