དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་སེམས་ཏེ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་ནི་འཇིགས་པ་དུ་མས་ཀུན་དུ་གང་བ་ཡིན་པས་
so if we set out upon the ocean, an ocean full of many terrors,
བདག་ཅག་ནི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོར་འཕགས་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་ནི་འཇིགས་པ་དུ་མས་ཀུན་དུ་གང་བ་ལགས་པས་
“this novice is but one of many who beg. come! let us go!”
