ויטהרו הכהנים והלוים ויטהרו את העם ואת השערים ואת החומה׃
and the priests and the levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

וירא אותם ויאמר אליהם לכו והראו אל הכהנים ויהי בלכתם ויטהרו׃
and when he saw them, he said unto them, go shew yourselves unto the priests. and it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

ואמרה ויטהרו הלשכות ואשיבה שם כלי בית האלהים את המנחה והלבונה׃
then i commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought i again the vessels of the house of god, with the meat offering and the frankincense.

אני הרוח של אביך; ארור ללכת בלילה תקופת מה, ובמשך היום, מרותק להכלות באש עד ישרפו עוונות ימי חלדי הבאושים ויטהרו.
