the type of research was carried out in this study using an analytical survey. location of this research at general royal prima medan hospital and carried out from july to august 2019. the population in this study were all inpatients who used health services 2.353 people. the sample in this study was taken with the slovin formula of 98 patients [11]. primary data in this study were obtained through direct interview to respondents based on the prepared questionnaire. primary data consists of facilities and infrastructure as well as personal contacts in the royal prima hospital and the dependent variable is trust of patient. secondary data obtained from reports and other official documents at royal prima medan hospital, which is used to assist the analysis of the primary data obtained. the independent variables in this study are facilities and infrastructure and personal contact. analysis of data used univariate analysis to see the characteristics of each variable. bivariate analysis, namely the analysis of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable defined with a cross table with chi-square and fishers extract test. multivariate analysis was used to analyze the effect of independent variables simultaneously on the dependent variable by using a multiple logistic regression test at 95% confidence level. diagram alur menggambarkan langkah proses penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini.
