(2023) titled “impacts of participating in a tailored community of practice for newly hired teachers”. the researcher aims to create a community practice for newly hired teachers to help them recollect the teachers' sense of belonging at their schools and their professional identities as educators. the researcher explained that teachers have expressed feeling exhausted and burnt out from the profession and when the covid-19 pandemic hit, it caused the rates of teachers leaving the profession to be higher than what had occurred in the past. furthermore, the research results suggested that teachers valued getting to know their colleagues and learning unique classroom practices and that their participation in the community of practice had a positive impact on their sense of belonging at their new schools.
