གསུམ་པོ་དེ་དག་གང་ཞེ་ན།
what are those three?

དགའ་བོ་ཉེ་དགའ་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ནག་པོ་ཅན་འདི་དག་ནི་བཙས་འཕྲོག་པ་དང་འདྲ་སྟེ།
nanda and upananda said, “these black begging bowl carriers might as well be snatching babies!

ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་གསེར་གྱི་རི་བདུན་པོ་དག་ན།
some practiced meditation on the seven golden mountains,

དེར་དགེ་སློང་བསླབ་པ་འདོད་པ་མང་པོ་དག་བསྲེགས་པས་
burning many of the monks intent on training there.

བྲམ་ཟེའི་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་དབང་པོ་དག་ཕྱིར་བླན་ཏེ།
while the two young brahmins sat in repose.

བདག་ཉིད་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་དག་ནི་ལུས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་སྟོན་གྱི་ཚིག་གིས་མི་སྟོན་པས་
“great persons teach the dharma through their actions and not their words.

ཁྱོད་བདག་པོ་མ་རེད དེའི་རྐྱེན་པས་ཆོག་འཆན་འདི་དག་བཟོ་བཅོས་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ
you are not the owner, so you cannot change these permissions.

ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་ཟངས་པོ་ཆེ་ཁོལ་བ་དག་གི་ནང་དུ་འཇུད་པར་བྱེད་དེ།
some were being ground in mills,

དབང་པོ་ནང་དུ་བསྡུས་པ་དག་གིས་མ་མཐོང་བ་ནི་བདེན་ན་ཇི་ལྟར་མ་ཐོས།
“if it is true that those who withdraw into repose do not see, how then do they not hear?”

དགེ་སློང་དག་མ་ནིང་ནི་ལྔ་པོ་འདི་དག་ཡིན་ཏེ། ལྔ་གང་ཞེ་ན།
“monks, there are five kinds of paṇḍaka. what are they?

ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ཚོང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པོ་དེ་དག་རྫས་མཁོས་སུ་འབེབས་པར་བྱེད་པ་ན། །
saṅgharakṣita leads an entourage of one thousand to the buddha. along the way,

གནས་གསུམ་པོ་དེ་དག་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པ་ལས་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་དག་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །
and so it is that boys and girls are born when those three circumstances are present.

ཟིན་པའི་ཕུང་པོ་དང་། ཁམས་དང་། སྐྱེ་མཆེད་དག་ལ་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ།
fruition upon the aggregates, elements, and seats of the senses of the one who performed them, for:

ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་ཁྱེད་སྤོབས་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞུམ་པ་མེད་པ་དགེ་བ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །
“venerables, your great and dauntless self-confidence is noble. it is excellent! it is excellent!

གཞན་དག་ཀྱང་སློབ་དཔོན་དང་། མཁན་པོ་དང་། མཁན་པོ་གཅིག་པ་དང་། སློབ་དཔོན་གཅིག་པ་དང་།
your instructor, your preceptor, one like your preceptor, one like your instructor, or companions.”

ལུས་བདུན་པོ་འདི་དག་ནི་མ་བྱས་པ། བྱས་པས་མ་བྱས་པ། མ་སྤྲུལ་པ། སྤྲུལ་པས་མ་བྱས་པ།
seven bodies are not products, they are not by-products, they are not apparitions, they are not by-products of apparitions,
