this weekend i have been to stage coach which is a performing arts school this is on a saturday. we did singing, dancing and acting. first i had dance and we did a warm up and some stretches we went straight into our dance which we are dancing to footloose and there is some fast steps and cool movements. it is good because it’s a happy and lively song so you have to put on a happy face and make the dance look over the top. after dance i had drama we are doing a play that we have scripted it is called “what happened to emily”. the play is a serious genre and a crime investigation. the play is really enjoyable. so that lesson we went over the scenes we did last week and have done some new scenes. in the play i am a councillor for emily. then at the end of drama we played some drama games they were really fun and we played wink murder and did an improvisation activity. last of all at stage coach i had singing we first did some singing exercises to get our voice warmed up and some tongue twisters while singing. then we sang “i’m singing in the rain” but as an acapella version. i did the lower harmony. we also sang “hallelujah” where we made up our own harmony. this was fun. then stage coach ended and i went home and had an indian i had chicken coma this was really nice. i was full after it i didn’t finish it all though.
