(2) Bei Ausserkrafttreten dieses Übereinkommens hat ein in Absatz 1 bezeichnetes Mitglied keinen Anspruch auf Beteiligung am Liquidationserlös oder am sonstigen Vermögen des Rates; es hat auch etwaige Fehlbeträge des Rates nicht mit zu tragen.

2. Upon termination of this Agreement, no member referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be entitled to any share of the proceeds of the liquidation or the other assets of the Council; nor shall it be burdened with any part of the deficit, if any, of the Council.

Änderungen der Anhänge dieser Verordnung, die erforderlich sind, damit dem Abschluß, der Änderung oder dem Ausserkrafttreten von Abkommen, Protokollen oder Vereinbarungen mit Drittländern oder Änderungen der Gemeinschaftsvorschriften über Statistiken, Zollregelungen oder gemeinsame Einfuhrregelungen Rechnung getragen werden kann, werden nach dem Verfahren des Artikels 17 vorgenommen.

Amendments to the Annexes to this Regulation which may be necessary to take into account the conclusion, amendment or expiry of agreements, protocols or arrangements with third countries or amendments made to Community rules on statistics, customs arrangements or common rules for imports shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 17.

(9) Jedes Mitglied, das aufgrund seines Austritts, seines Ausschlusses oder aus anderen Gründen während der Geltungsdauer dieses Übereinkommens aufhört, Vertragspartei dieses Übereinkommens zu sein, hat die dem Rat geschuldeten Zahlungen zu leisten und alle Verpflichtungen zu erfuellen, die es vor dem Tag eingegangen ist, an dem es aufhört. Vertragspartei dieses Übereinkommens zu sein. Dieses Mitglied hat beim Ausserkrafttreten dieses Übereinkommens keinen Anspruch auf einen Teil des Erlöses aus der Liquidation des Vermögens des Rates.

9. Any member which ceases to be a Party to this Agreement through its withdrawal or exclusion or for any other reason during the life of this Agreement shall make the payments which it owed to the Council, and shall perform all the undertakings which it entered into before the date on which it ceases to be a Party to this Agreement. No such member may claim any share in the proceeds of liquidation of the assets of the Council upon the expiry of this Agreement.

EXPIRY OF THE ECSC TREATY

(3) Ist vor dem 31. Dezember 1991 beziehungsweise vor Ablauf einer in Absatz 2 bezeichneten Verlängerungszeit ein neues Übereinkommen oder ein Protokoll zur Weiterführung dieses Übereinkommens ausgehandelt worden, aber noch nicht vorläufig oder endgültig in Kraft getreten, so bleibt dieses Übereinkommen über den Tag seines Ausserkrafttretens hinaus bis zum Inkrafttreten des neuen Übereinkommens oder des Protokolls, höchstens jedoch 12 Monate, in Kraft.

3. If, before 31 December 1991 or before the expiry of a period of prolongation referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article, as the case may be, a new agreement or a protocol for the extension of this Agreement has been negotiated but has not yet entered into force either definitively or provisionally, this Agreement shall remain in force beyond its expiry date until the new agreement or protocol enters into force, provided that the period of such prolongation does not exceed 12 months.

(8) Beschlüsse über die Verwendung der Beträge aus den Finanzierungsquellen nach Absatz 2 werden nach Maßgabe des Artikels 11 gefasst.(9) Ist dieses Übereinkommen im Zeitpunkt seines Ausserkrafttretens nicht verlängert, weitergeführt oder erneuert worden, so werden die nicht verwendeten Beträge den Mitgliedern im Verhältnis des Gesamtbeitrags zurückgezahlt, den sie während der Geltungsdauer dieses Übereinkommens geleistet haben.

8. Decisions relating to the management of the sums emanating from the sources of finance referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article shall be taken in accordance with the provisions of Article 11.9. On the expiry of this Agreement, and unless it is prolonged, extended or renewed, any sums not used shall be repaid to members proportionately to the total of their contributions during the life of this Agreement.

5. Notwithstanding the expiry or termination of this Agreement, the Council shall continue in being for as long as may be necessary for the purpose of carrying out the liquidation of the Council, including the settlement of accounts, and shall have during that period such powers and functions as may be necessary for these purposes.

(6) Ungeachtet des Ausserkrafttretens dieses Übereinkommens bleibt der Rat höchstens 18 Monate weiterbestehen, um die Auflösung der Organisation einschließlich der Kontenabrechnung durchzuführen; vorbehaltlich der einschlägigen Beschlüsse, die durch besondere Abstimmung zu fassen sind, hat er während dieser Zeit alle Befugnisse und Aufgaben, die für diese Zwecke notwendig sind.

6. Notwithstanding the termination of this Agreement, the Council shall continue in being for a period not exceeding 18 months to carry out the liquidation of the Organization, including the settlement of accounts, and, subject to relevant decisions to be taken by special vote, shall have during that period such powers and functions an may be necessary for these purpose.
