and (he commandeth you, saying): this is my straight path, so follow it.

he only commandeth you to evil and indecency, and that ye should say against allah that which ye know not
ai ju urdhëron të bëni keq dhe marrëzi edhe të flisni për all-llahun çka nuk dini.

and recall what time musa said unto his people: verily allah commandeth you that ye slaughter a cow.
(përkutjoni) edhe kur musai popullit të vet i tha: “all-llahu ju urdhëron ta therrni një lopë!

and the times of this ignorance god winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
perëndia, pra, duke kaluar përmbi kohërat e padijes, i urdhëron të gjithë njerëzit dhe kudo që të pendohen.

and the children of gad and the children of reuben spake unto moses, saying, thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
dhe bijtë e gadit dhe bijtë e rubenit i folën moisiut duke i thënë: "shërbëtorët e tu do të bëjnë ashtu si urdhëron zotëria im.

verily allah commandeth you that ye shall render dues unto the owners thereof, and that, when ye judge between men, judge with justice.
all-llahu ju urdhëron që gjërat e besuara t’ua jepni atyre që u takojnë, pronarëve të vet, dhe kur të gjykoni ndërmjet njerëzve, të gjykoni drejt.

lo! allah commandeth you that ye restore deposits to their owners, and, if ye judge between mankind, that ye judge justly.
all-llahu ju urdhëron që gjërat e besuara t’ua jepni atyre që u takojnë, pronarëve të vet, dhe kur të gjykoni ndërmjet njerëzve, të gjykoni drejt.

and into their hearts the calf was made to sink because of their infidelity. say thou: vile is that which your belief commandeth you, if ye are believers.
thuaju: “nëse jeni besimtarë, sa gjë të keqe po ju urdhëruaka besimi juaj!”

and recall what time musa said unto his people: verily allah commandeth you that ye slaughter a cow. they said: makest thou a jest of us?
dhe kur i tha musa popullit të vet: “all-llahu ju urdhëron të “therrni një lopë”; ata i thanë: “ti po allesh me ne, a?”

and (he commandeth you, saying): this is my straight path, so follow it. follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from his way.
dhe se kjoështë rruga (feja) ime e drejtë (që e caktova për ju), pra përmbajuni kësaj, e mos ndiqni rrugë të tjerae t’ju ndajnë nga rruga e tij.

unto whomsoever followeth the footsteps of the devil, lo! he commandeth filthiness and wrong. had it not been for the grace of allah and his mercy unto you, not one of you would ever have grown pure.
atë, që shkon gjurmëve të djallit ai e shpie në theqafje dhe në amoralitet; po sikur të mos ishte mirësia e all-llahut ndaj jush dhe mëshira e tij, asnjëri prej jush kurrë nuk do të pastrohej (nga mëkatet), mirëpo, all-llahu pastron atë që do ai.

no good is there in much of their whispers except in his who commandeth charity or kindness or reconciliation among mankind; and whosoever doeth this seeking the good-will of allah, we shall presently give him a mighty hire.
në shumë biseda të tyre të fshehta nuk ka kurrfarë dobie, përveç (bisedës) kush këshillon për lëmoshë, për ndonjë të mirë ose pajtim mes njerëzve. e kush i bën këto duke pasur për qëllim vetëm kënaqësinë e all-llahut, ne do ti japim më vonë (në botën tjetër) shpërbllim të madh.

and allah propoundeth a similitude: there are two men, one of them dumb who hath of power over aught and is a weariness unto his master, whithersoever he directeth him he bringeth not any good; is he equal with one who commandeth justice and in himself on a straight patht?
all-llahu sjel shembull: dy njerëz, njëri prej atyre dyve është memec që nuk ka aftësi për asgjë *as për vete as për të tjerët) dhe vetë ai është barrë për kujdestrarin e tij, pse kudo që ta orientojë, a nuk sjell ndonjë dobi. a është ibarabartë me atë që udhëzon për drejtësi e edhe vetë është në rrugën e drejtë?
