honestly though the shit i was really listening to was weezy.

but this is exactly where i want to step hard on the critics-break: of course, as a teaser-mixtape, i’m not a human being was not as sparking as, for instance, the dedication-tapes – but when all you want to do with tha carter iv is meticulously comparing the weezy of 2011 with the one of 2006/07, it’s simply your own damn fault. plus, almost everyone seems to forget to mention that tha carter iii was not consistently brilliant (comfortable, mrs.officer?!).
aber schon hier will ich mal kräftig in die kritik-bremse treten: natürlich war i†˜m not a human being als teaser-mixtape nicht so zündend wie z.b. die dedication-tapes – wenn man das allerdings als anlass nimmt the carter iv nur penibel darauf zu untersuchen, wie sich der 2011er weezy von dem von 2006/2007 unterscheidet, ist man schlichtweg selber schuld.
