and as peter was coming in, cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

there was a certain man in caesarea called cornelius, a centurion of the band called the italian band,
ကဲသရိမြို့၌ ဣတလိတပ်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ်သော တပ်တွင် လူတရာ ကိုအုပ်ချုပ်သော တပ်မှူးကော်နေလိ အမည် တွင်သော သူတယောက်ရှိ ၏။

and said, cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of god.
ကော်နေလိ၊ သင်ပြုသောပဌနာကို ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကြား၍၊ သင်စွန့်ကြဲခြင်းကိုလည်း မှတ်တော်မူပြီ။

and the morrow after they entered into caesarea. and cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
ထိုနောက်တနေ့၌ ကဲသရိမြို့သို့ဝင်ကြ၍၊ ကော်နေလိသည် မိမိ အဆွေအမျိုး မိတ်ခင်ပွန်းများတို့ကို စုဝေးစေပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုသူတို့ကို မြော်လင့်လျက်နေကြ၏။

he saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of god coming in to him, and saying unto him, cornelius.
တနေ့သ၌ နေသုံးချက်တီးအချိန်တွင် ဘုရား သခင်၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန်သည်၊ ကော်နေလိဟု ခေါ်လျက် ရောက်လာသည်ကို ထိုသူသည် ထင်ရှားသော ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံအားဖြင့် မြင်ရ၏။

and when the angel which spake unto cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
ထိုသို့ပြောဆိုသော ကောင်းကင်တမန်သွားပြီးမှ၊ ကော်နေလိသည် မိမိငယ်သားနှစ်ယောက်နှင့်တကွ မိမိထံ၌ မပြတ်ခစားသောလူစု အဝင်၊ ဘုရားဝတ်၌ မွေ့လျော်သော စစ်သူရဲတယောက်ကိုခေါ်၍၊

and cornelius said, four days ago i was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour i prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
ကော်နေလိကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ယခု အချိန် နာရီတိုင်အောင် အစာရှောင်၍ သုံးချက်တီး အချိန်တွင် အိမ်၌ဆုတောင်းလျက် နေသည်၊ ယခု လေးရက်ရှိပါပြီ။ ထိုအချိန်၌ လူတယောက်သည် ထွန်းတောက်သောအဝတ်ကို ဝတ်လျက် အကျွန်ုပ် ရှေ့မှောက်၌ရပ်၍၊

and they said, cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth god, and of good report among all the nation of the jews, was warned from god by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း ဘုရားသခင်ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့၍၊ ယုဒလူ အပေါင်းတို့တွင် အသရေရှိသော သူတော်ကောင်း တည်းဟူသော တပ်မှူး ကော်နေလိသည်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို မိမိအိမ်သို့ခေါ်ပင့်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ စကားကို နားထောင် ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော ကောင်းကင်တမန် အားဖြင့် ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို ခံရပါသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောကြ၏။
