(பின்பு இறைவன் ஆதமை நோக்கி;) "ஆதமே! நீரும், உம் மனைவியும் சுவர்க்கத்தில் குடியிருந்து, நீங்கள் இருவரும் உங்கள் விருப்பப்பிரகாரம் புசியுங்கள்; ஆனால் இந்த மரத்தை (மட்டும்) நெருங்காதீர்கள்; (அப்படிச் செய்தால்) நீங்கள் இருவரும் அநியாயம் செய்தவர்கள் ஆவீர்கள்" (என்று அல்லாஹ் கூறினான்).

march forth light and heavy and strive hard with your riches and your lives in the way of allah; that is the best for you, if ye have knowledge.
நீங்கள் சொற்ப(மான போர்த் தளவாட)ங்களைக் கொண்டிருந்தாலும் சரி, நிறைய(ப் போர்த் தளவாடங்களைக்) கொண்டிருந்தாலும் சரி, நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டு, உங்கள் பொருட்களையும், உயிர்களையும் கொண்டு அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் அறப்போர் புரியுங்கள் - நீங்கள் அறிந்தவர்களாக இருந்தால், இதுவே உங்களுக்கு மிகவும் நல்லது.

go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of allah. that is better for you, if you only knew.

he is allah; there is no god but he. his is the praise in this world and in the hereafter. his is the command and to him will all of you be returned.
மேலும்; அவனே அல்லாஹ்! அவனை அன்றி (வேறு) நாயன் இல்லை. இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் எல்லாப் புகழும் அவனுக்கே உரியது தீர்ப்புக் கூறும் அதிகாரமும் அவனுக்கே உரியது ஆதலின் அவனிடத்திலேயே நீங்கள் திரும்பிக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

and assuredly ye know of those of you who trespassed in the matter of the sabbath, wherefore we said unto them: be ye apes despised.
உங்க(ள் முன்னோர்க)ளிலிருந்து சனிக்கிழமையன்று (மீன் பிடிக்கக் கூடாது என்ற) வரம்பை மீறியவர்களைப்பற்றி நீங்கள் உறுதியாக அறிவீர்கள். அதனால் அவர்களை நோக்கி "சிறுமையடைந்த குரங்குகளாகி விடுங்கள்" என்று கூறினோம்.

and we said to adam: "both you and your spouse live in the garden, eat freely to your fill wherever you like, but approach not this tree or you will become transgressors.
