Does the Minister agree with the Westminster Parliament Environmental Audit Committee , among others , that it would be irresponsible for the Government to permit the commercialisation of GM crops now , or does he agree with his Westminster counterpart , who said today that the Government agrees in principle with the commercial cultivation of GM herbicide-tolerant maize ? Does he share my concern regarding the Westminster Government's decision to apparently ignore the Committee's advice ? Has he agreed , in principle -- and that is what has been discussed in Westminster -- to the listing of Chardon LL , subject to the conditions mentioned in his statement ? We must be clear on where the Minister stands on the principle of this issue
