De kans op wanbetaling voor kredietwaardige en de niet-kredietwaardige bedrijven tijdens de looptijd van de regeling in kwestie werd gebaseerd op "Moody’s Investor Services” en was respectievelijk 0,13% en 34,37%. Dit leidde tot een rentetarief van 63,89%. De gemiddelde rente die Hynix in het kader van het obligatieleningenprogramma van de KDB verschuldigd was bedroeg evenwel 12,7%; het renteverschil was dus 51,19%.
