I inherited this land from my father. It was planted with olive since ancient times. I used to produce olive oil abundantly, take my needs and sell the remaining. This generated an income which supported me in my livelihood. لقد ورثت هذه الأرض عن والدي وقد كانت مزروعة بالزيتون الرومي. وكان انتاح زيت الزيتون وفير، حيث كنت آخذ حاجتي منه وأبيع ما تبقى. وقد وفر لي ذلك دخلاً جيدني أعانني في معيشتي. ولكن بعد بناء الجدار على كامل الأرض كلها، أصبح يصعب الوصول إليها لعدم وجود تصاريح ، وحتى عندما كنت حصل على تصاريح ، لم أكن قادرا على الذهاب إلى الأرض ما عدا يوم الاثنين والخميس عند فتح البوابة. وهذا التقييد جعل من الصعب العناية بالأرض وخصوصا أنها جرفت وتم اقتلاع معظم الأشجار من أجل بناء الجدار. أما الجزء الآخر من الأرض على جانب القرية ، فأنا لا استطيع الاستفادة منه لأنهم وضعوا 20 مترا من الأسلاك الشائكة على الأرض بحيث لا استطيع الاستفادة منها كالسابق حيث انني غير قادر على زراعة الأرض أو قطف ثمار الزيتون بحرية.
