Bei Sattelzugmaschinen werden die Prüfungen im unbeladenen Zustand mit dem Zugfahrzeug allein durchgeführt, einschließlich einer Masse, die die Sattelkupplung darstellt.

In the case of a motor vehicle designed to tow a semi-trailer, the unladen tests shall be conducted with the tractive unit only, without its trailer, but carrying a load representing the fifth wheel.

Bei der Prüfung Typ I eines Sattelanhängers muß die von seinen Achsen abgebremste Masse der höchstzulässigen Achslast (ohne Last auf der Sattelkupplung) entsprechen.

Bei Sattelzugmaschinen werden die Prüfungen im unbeladenen Zustand mit dem Zugfahrzeug allein durchgeführt, einschließlich einer Masse, die die Sattelkupplung darstellt.Das Fahrzeug muß auch eine Masse enthalten, die der des Ersatzrads entspricht, wenn ein solches zur Normalausrüstung des Fahrzeugs gehört.
