அல்லது, நீர் அவர்களிடம் ஏதாவது கூலி கேட்டு, (அதைக் கொடுத்ததினால்) அவர்கள் கடன் பட்டு சுமையேற்றப்பட்டிருக்கின்றார்களா,

and then we would surely have vouchsafed unto them from our presence a mighty hire.
அப்போது, நாம் அவர்களுக்கு நம்மிடத்திலிருந்து மகத்தான நற்கூலியைக் கொடுத்திருப்போம்.

and be patient thou; verily allah wasteth not the hire of the welldoers.
(நபியே! எந்நிலையிலும்) பொறுமையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அழகிய செயல்கள் செய்வோரின் கூலியை வீணாக்கி விடமாட்டான்.

and ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the lord of the worlds.
"அளவையை நிறைவாக அளவுங்கள்; (அளவையைக்) குறைப்பவர்களாக இராதீர்கள்.

and i ask of you no hire there for; my hire is but with the lord of the worlds.
"உலகத்தார்களில் நீங்கள் ஆடவர்களிடம் (கெட்ட நோக்கோடு) நெருங்குகின்றீர்களா?

they rejoice at the favour of allah and his grace, and that verily allah wasteth not the hire of the believers.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து தாங்கள் பெற்ற நிஃமத்துகள் (நற்பேறுகள்) பற்றியும், மேன்மையைப் பற்றியும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் முஃமின்களுக்குரிய நற்கூலியை (ஒரு சிறிதும்) வீணாக்கி விடுவதில்லை. என்பதைப் பற்றியும் மகிழ்வடைந்தோராய் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

allah hath promised those who believe and work righteous works that for them shall be forgiveness; and a mighty hire.
ஈமான் கொண்டு. நல்ல அமல்கள் செய்வோருக்கு, மன்னிப்பையும், மகத்தான (நற்)கூலியையும் அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்துள்ளான்.

and know that your riches and your children are but a temptation, and that verily allah: with him is a mighty hire.
"நிச்சயமாக உங்கள் செல்வமும், உங்கள் குழந்தைகளும் (உங்களுக்குச்) சோதனையாக இருக்கின்றன நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் தான் மிகவும் உயர்ந்த நற்கூலி உண்டு" என்பதை நீங்கள் நன்கு அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and as for him who believeth and worketh righteously, unto him shall be a goodly hire, and anon we shall speak unto him of our affair something easy.
ஆனால், எவன் ஈமான் கொண்டு (ஸாலிஹான) - நல்ல - செயல்களைச் செய்கிறானோ அவனுக்கு அழகான நற்கூலி இருக்கிறது இன்னும் நம்முடைய கட்டளைகளில் இலகுவானதை அவனுக்கு நாம் கூறுவோம்.

and if ye seek allah and his apostle and the abode of the hereafter, then verily allah hath gotten ready for the well-doers among you a mighty hire.
"ஆனால், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவன் தூதரையும், மறுமையின் வீட்டையும் விரும்புவீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது உங்களில் நன்மையாளர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான நற்கூலி நிச்சயமாக சித்தம் செய்திருக்கிறான்" என்றும் கூறுவீராக!

and as for those who believed and worked righteous works, he shall repay them their hires in full, and allah loveth not the wrong-doers.
ஆனால், எவர் ஈமான் கொண்டு நற்கருமங்களும் செய்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு நற்கூலிகளை (அல்லாஹ்) முழுமையாகக் கொடுப்பான்; அல்லாஹ் அக்கிரமம் செய்வோரை நேசிக்கமாட்டான்.
