Alle Ethylenproduzenten und –abnehmer werden die Pipeline zu nicht diskriminierenden Bedingungen in Anspruch nehmen können. Die Kapazität der Pipeline wird so ausgelegt, dass diese Prinzipien respektiert werden können (die verfügbare Reservekapazität beträgt ca. 50%). Diese Bedingungen müssen mindestens 25 Jahre eingehalten werden.

KG ("G+J") e a Axel Springer AG ("Springer") adquirem o controlo conjunto da empresa alemã NewCo ("NewCo"), mediante aquisição de acções de uma nova empresa que constitui uma empresa comum. As empresas Bertelsmann (e G+J) e Springer são designadas colectivamente por "as partes".
