I laghetti artificiali sono animati da giochi d'acque e fontane e rallegrati dalla presenza di cigni, anatre ed altri uccelli acquatici.Il parco ospita anche un piccolo allevamento, visitabile, in cui vivono capre, asini e alpaca andini.Attorno al lago sono stati realizzati vari sentieri che permettono di gustare panorami suggestivi e passeggiare a contatto con la natura, attraverso i boschi e la macchia mediterranea.L'area, poi, è caratterizzata dalla presenza di specie animali minacciate, come la lontra, presente soprattutto negli affluenti, l'occhione e la ghiandaia marina, mentre, nelle aree boscate, si possono osservare, durante le migrazioni, il tordo bottaccio, la beccaccia e il colombaccio.Sono presenti anche numerose specie di pipistrelli, come il ferro di cavallo minore, il più piccolo dei Rinolofi europei, specie in calo in Europa dagli anni '50, e il ferro di cavallo maggiore.Sono stati individuati, poi, tra i pesci, esemplari dei barbo italico e alborella appenninica o meridionale e anche esemplari di alosa o cheppia, che nell'Alento si riproduce.- Come arrivareIn auto:
