Overwegende dat de dossiers betreffende CGA 279 202 (trifloxystrobin), clefoxydim (BAS 625H), etoxazol en ijzerfosfaat op 15 oktober 1998 aan het Permanent Plantenziektekundig Comité zijn voorgelegd;

Whereas the dossiers for CGA 279 202 (trifloxystrobin), clefoxydim (BAS 625H), etoxazol and ferric phosphate were referred to the Standing Committee on Plant Health on 15 October 1998;

Overwegende dat tussen de lidstaten en de Commissie is overeengekomen dat het Verenigd Koninkrijk het grondige onderzoek zal verrichten van het dossier betreffende CGA 279 202 (trifloxystrobin), Spanje dat van het dossier betreffende clefoxydim (BAS 625H), Frankrijk dat van het dossier betreffende etoxazol en Duitsland dat van het dossier betreffende ijzerfosfaat;Overwegende dat het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Spanje, Frankrijk en Duitsland de conclusies van hun onderzoeken -vergezeld van eventuele aanbevelingen met betrekking tot de vraag of de betrokken werkzame stof al dan niet moet worden opgenomen, en welke voorwaarden eventueel aan die opneming moeten worden verbonden -zo spoedig mogelijk en in elk geval binnen één jaar in verslagen aan de Commissie zullen meedelen; dat na ontvangst van deze verslagen het grondige onderzoek zal worden voortgezet met de deskundige inbreng van alle lidstaten in het kader van het Permanent Plantenziektekundig Comité;

Whereas it is understood between the Member States and the Commission that the United Kingdom will pursue the detailed examination for the dossier for CGA 279 202 (trifloxystrobin), that Spain will pursue the detailed examination for the dossier for clefoxydim (BAS 625H), that France will pursue the detailed examination for the dossier for etoxazol, and that Germany will pursue the detailed examination for the dossier for ferric phosphate;Whereas the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Germany will report the conclusions of their examinations accompanied by any recommendations on the inclusion or non-inclusion and any conditions related thereto to the Commission as soon as possible and at the latest within a period of one year; whereas on receipt of this report the detailed examination will be continued with the expertise from all Member States within the framework of the Standing Committee on Plant Health;

4. Het dossier dat W. Neudorff GmbH KG bij de Commissie en de lidstaten heeft ingediend met het oog op de opneming van ijzerfosfaat als werkzame stof in bijlage I bij Richtlijn 91/414/EEG en dat op 15 oktober 1998 is voorgelegd aan het Permanent Plantenziektekundig Comité.

4. The dossier submitted by W. Neudorff GmbH KG to the Commission and the Member States with a view to the inclusion of ferric phosphate as active substance in Annex I to Directive 91/414/EEC and which was referred to the Standing Committee on Plant Health on 15 October 1998.

(5) Duitsland heeft verzocht ijzerfosfaat op te nemen in bijlage II bij Verordening (EEG) nr. 2092/91, om het gebruik van dit product als mollusciscide in de biologische landbouw mogelijk te maken. Bij onderzoek van dit verzoek is gebleken dat aan de voorwaarden van artikel 7, lid 1, van bovengenoemde verordening is voldaan. Bovendien is ijzerfosfaat recentelijk in het kader van Richtlijn 91/414/EEG van de Raad van 15 juli 1991 betreffende het op de markt brengen van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen(3), laatstelijk gewijzigd bij Richtlijn 2002/18/EG van de Commissie(4), getoetst aan de criteria op het gebied van volksgezondheid en milieu. Het is derhalve dienstig dit product toe te voegen aan bijlage II, deel B.

(5) Germany has asked that ferric phosphate be included in Annex II to Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 so that it can be used as a molluscicide in organic agriculture. Having examined this request, the conditions laid down in Article 7(1) of that Regulation have been found being satisfied. Moreover, ferric phosphate was recently evaluated for compliance with the criteria on human health and the environment under Council Directive 91/414/EEC of 15 July 1991 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market(3), as last amended by Commission Directive 2002/18/EC(4). This product should accordingly be added to Annex II, Part B.

Overwegende dat W. Neudorff GmbH KG op 27 augustus 1998 bij de Duitse autoriteiten een dossier heeft ingediend betreffende de werkzame stof ijzerfosfaat;

Whereas a dossier for the active substance ferric phosphate was submitted by W. Neudorff GmbH to the German authorities on 27 August 1998;
