Mijnheer de Voorzitter, mijn fractie heeft dit verzoek gedaan niet alleen met het oog op de recente ontwikkelingen maar met name vanwege het feit dat de voorzitter van de Raad, de heer Simitis, een buitengewone top heeft belegd, die gepland is voor komende maandag.
