መንፈስ ይሙላባችሁ እንጂ በወይን ጠጅ አትስከሩ ይህ ማባከን ነውና፤

አሮጌ የወይን ጠጅ ሲጠጣ አዲሱን የሚሻ ማንም የለም፤ አሮጌው ይጣፍጣል ይላልና።

then shall ye begin to say, we have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
በዚያን ጊዜም። በፊትህ በላን ጠጣንም በአደባባያችንም አስተማርህ ልትሉ ትጀምራላችሁ፤

the day you see it every suckling female will forget her suckling , and every pregnant female will discharge her burden . you will see men drunk , yet it will not be intoxication .
በምታዩዋት ቀን አጥቢ ሁሉ ከአጠባችው ልጅ ትፈዝዛለች ፡ ፡ የእርግዝና ባለቤት የኾነችም ሁሉ እርጉዟን ትጨነግፋለች ፡ ፡ ሰዎቹንም ( በድንጋጤ ብርታት ) የሰከሩ ኾነው ታያለህ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( ከመጠጥ ) የሰከሩ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ግን የአላህ ቅጣት ብርቱ ነው ፡ ፡

on that day you will see every one that suckles shall forsake her suckling , and every carrier shall miscarry , and you shall see mankind drunk although they arenot drunk ; dreadful will be the punishment of allah .
በምታዩዋት ቀን አጥቢ ሁሉ ከአጠባችው ልጅ ትፈዝዛለች ፡ ፡ የእርግዝና ባለቤት የኾነችም ሁሉ እርጉዟን ትጨነግፋለች ፡ ፡ ሰዎቹንም ( በድንጋጤ ብርታት ) የሰከሩ ኾነው ታያለህ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( ከመጠጥ ) የሰከሩ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ግን የአላህ ቅጣት ብርቱ ነው ፡ ፡

believers , do not approach your prayers when you are drunk , until you understand what you say , nor when you are in a state of impurity , -- except when you are on a journey -- till you have bathed . and if you are ill , or on a journey or have relieved yourselves or when you have consorted with women and you cannot find any water , then find some clean sand and wipe your face and your hands with it .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! እናንተ የሰከራችሁ ኾናችሁ የምትሉትን ነገር እስከምታውቁ የረከሳችሁም ስትኾኑ መንገድን አላፊዎች ካልኾናችሁ በስተቀር ( አካላታችሁን ) እስከምትታጠቡ ድረስ ስግደትን አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ በሽተኞች ወይም በጉዞ ላይ ብትኾኑም ፥ ወይንም ከእናንተ አንዱ ከዓይነምድር ቢመጣ ፥ ወይንም ሴቶችን ብትነካኩና ውሃን ባታገኙ ፣ ንጹሕ የኾነን የምድር ገጽ አስቡ ፡ ፡ ፊቶቻችሁንና እጆቻችሁንም ( በርሱ ) አብሱ ፡ ፡ አላህ ይቅር ባይ መሓሪ ነውና ፡ ፡
