በከዋክብትም መጥለቂያዎች እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say : ' a massed cloud '
ከሰማይም ቁራጭን ( በእነርሱ ላይ ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ « ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው » ይሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

and if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling , they would say : a heap of clouds .
ከሰማይም ቁራጭን ( በእነርሱ ላይ ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ « ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው » ይሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

and when the guilty see hell , they will be certain of falling into it , and will find no place to escape from it .
ከሓዲዎችም እሳትን ያያሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በውስጧ ወዳቂዎች መኾናቸውን ያረጋግጣሉ ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም መሸሻን አያገኙም ፡ ፡

and if they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down , they would say : it is only clouds piled up .

አላህ ሰማያትንና ምድርን እንዳይወገዱ ይይዛቸዋል ፡ ፡ ቢወገዱም ከእርሱ ሌላ አንድም የሚይዛቸው የለም ፡ ፡ እነሆ እርሱ ታጋሽ መሓሪ ነውና ፡ ፡

if they should see a segment falling from the sky , they would say : " it is only a massive cloud . "

and if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down , they would say : " clouds gathered in heaps ! "
ከሰማይም ቁራጭን ( በእነርሱ ላይ ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ « ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው » ይሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

had we sent down this quran on a mountain , you would certainly have seen it falling down , splitting asunder because of the fear of allah , and we set forth these parables to men that they may reflect .
ይህንን ቁርኣን በተራራ ላይ ባወረድነው ኖሮ ከአላህ ፍራቻ ( የተነሳ ) ተዋራጅ ተሰንጣቂ ኾኖ ባየኸው ነበር ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ምሳሌ ይገመግሙ ዘንድ ለሰዎች እንገልፃለን ፡ ፡

and if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling , they would say , " [ it is merely ] clouds heaped up . "
ከሰማይም ቁራጭን ( በእነርሱ ላይ ) ወዳቂ ኾኖ ቢያዩ ኖሮ « ይህ የተደራረበ ደመና ነው » ይሉ ነበር ፡ ፡

have you not seen that god , through his command , has made all that is in the earth and the ships that sail on the sea subservient to you ? he prevents the sky from falling on the earth unless he decides otherwise .
አላህ በምድር ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ ለእናንተ የገራላችሁ ፣ መርከቦችንም በባሕር ውስጥ በፈቃዱ የሚንሻለሉ ሲኾኑ ( የገራላችሁ ) መኾኑን ፣ ሰማይንም በፈቃዱ ካልኾነ በምድር ላይ እንዳትወድቅ የሚይዛት መኾኑን አላየህምን አላህ ለሰዎች በእርግጥ ሩኅሩኅ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

so is one who established his foundation upon the fear of allah and upon his pleasure better , or the one who laid his foundation upon the brink of a falling precipice , so it fell along with him into the fire of hell ? and allah does not guide the unjust .
አላህን በመፍራትና ውዴታውን በመፈለግ ላይ ግንቡን የመሠረተው ሰው ይበልጣልን ወይስ ጎርፍ በሸረሸረው ለመናድ በተቃረበ ገደል አፋፍ ላይ ግንቡን የመሠረተውና በርሱ ( ይዞት ) በገሀነም እሳት ውስጥ የወደቀ ( ይበልጣል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም በደለኞች ሕዝቦችን አይመራም ፡ ፡

( so obstinate are they that ) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say : “ it is only a mass of cloud . ”
