« ከዓለማት ( ማንንም እንዳታስተናግድ ) አልከለከልንህምን » አሉት ፡ ፡

god forbid: for then how shall god judge the world?
እንዲህ አይሁን፤ እንዲህ ቢሆን እግዚአብሔር በዓለም እንዴት ይፈርዳል?

they said , ‘ did we not forbid you from [ defending ] strangers ? ’
« ከዓለማት ( ማንንም እንዳታስተናግድ ) አልከለከልንህምን » አሉት ፡ ፡

they said , " did we not forbid you to extend hospitality to strangers ? "
« ከዓለማት ( ማንንም እንዳታስተናግድ ) አልከለከልንህምን » አሉት ፡ ፡

they did not forbid one another from the wrongdoing they were committing . evil is what they were doing .
ከሠሩት መጥፎ ነገር አይከላከሉም ነበር ፡ ፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ከፋ !

they replied , " did we not forbid you to bring anyone to your house ? "
« ከዓለማት ( ማንንም እንዳታስተናግድ ) አልከለከልንህምን » አሉት ፡ ፡

they did not forbid each other from committing the abominable deeds they committed . indeed what they did was evil .
ከሠሩት መጥፎ ነገር አይከላከሉም ነበር ፡ ፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ከፋ !

and they forbid it , and keep afar from it , and it is only themselves they destroy , but they are not aware .
እነርሱም ( ሰዎችን ) ከእርሱ ይከለክላሉ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ይርቃሉ ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻቸውንም እንጂ ሌላን አያጠፉም ፤ ግን አያውቁም ፡ ፡

o prophet , why do you forbid what allah has made lawful for you ? is it to please your wives ?
አንተ ነቢዩ ሆይ ! አላህ ለአንተ የፈቀደልህን ነገር ሚስቶችህን ማስወደድን የምትፈልግ ስትኾን ( ባንተ ላይ ) ለምን እርም ታደርጋለህ ? አላህም እጅግ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

who believe in allah and the last day , who order honor and forbid dishonor and race in good works . these are the righteous .
በአላህና በመጨረሻው ቀን ያምናሉ ፡ ፡ በጽድቅ ነገርም ያዛሉ ፡ ፡ ከመጥፎ ነገርም ይከለክላሉ ፡ ፡ በበጎ ሥራዎችም ይጣደፋሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ከመልካሞቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness , and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency . such are they who are successful .
ከናንተም ወደ በጎ ነገር የሚጠሩ በመልካም ሥራም የሚያዙ ከክፉ ነገርም የሚከለክሉ ሕዝቦች ይኑሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነሱ የሚድኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

believers , do not forbid the good things that allah has made lawful to you . do not transgress ; allah does not love the transgressors .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህ ለናንተ የፈቀደላችሁን ጣፋጮች እርም አታድርጉ ፡ ፡ ወሰንንም አትለፉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

believers , do not forbid the wholesome good things , which god made lawful to you . do not transgress ; god does not love the transgressors .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህ ለናንተ የፈቀደላችሁን ጣፋጮች እርም አታድርጉ ፡ ፡ ወሰንንም አትለፉ ፡ ፡ አላህ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

and they forbid others from ( believing in ) it , and themselves keep away from it . but they ruin none but themselves , and do not understand .
እነርሱም ( ሰዎችን ) ከእርሱ ይከለክላሉ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ይርቃሉ ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻቸውንም እንጂ ሌላን አያጠፉም ፤ ግን አያውቁም ፡ ፡

do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped ? and indeed we are , about that to which you invite us , in disquieting doubt . "
« ሷሊህ ሆይ ! ከዚህ በፊት በእኛ ውስጥ ( መሪ ልትሆን ) በእርግጥ የምትከጅል ነበርክ ፡ ፡ አባቶቻችን የሚገዙትን ከመገዛት ትከለክለናለህን እኛም ወደርሱ ከምትጠራን ነገር በእርግጥ አወላዋይ በሆነ መጠራጠር ውስጥ ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

he said , “ god forbid that we should arrest anyone except him in whose possession we found our property ; for then we would be unjust . ”
« ዕቃችንን እርሱ ዘንድ ያገኘንበትን ሰው እንጂ ሌላን ከመያዝ በአላህ እንጠብቃለን ፡ ፡ እኛ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ በዳዮች ነን » አለ ፡ ፡

allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them . indeed , allah loves those who act justly .
ከእነዚያ በሃይማኖት ካልተጋደሏችሁ ከአገሮቻችሁም ካላወጡዋችሁ ( ከሓዲዎች ) መልካም ብትውሉላቸውና ወደእነርሱ ብታስተካክሉ አላህ አይከለክላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህ ትክክለኞችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

( o prophet ) , recite the book that has been revealed to you and establish prayer . surely prayer forbids indecency and evil .
ከመጽሐፍ ወደ አንተ የተወረደውን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ሶላትንም ደንቡን ጠብቀህ ስገድ ፡ ፡ ሶላት ከመጥፎና ከሚጠላ ነገር ሁሉ ትከለክላለችና ፡ ፡ አላህንም ማውሳት ከሁሉ ነገር በላጭ ነው ፤ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡
