Taking note of the reports of the Special Rapporteur of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights on traditional practices affecting the health of women and the girl child and of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on violence against women, its causes and consequences,

وإذ تحيط علما بتقريري المقررة الخاصة للجنة الفرعية لتشجيع وحماية حقوق الإنسان المعنية بالممارسات التقليدية التي تؤثر في صحة المرأة والطفلة() والمقررة الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة وأسبابه وعواقبه()،

(n) To cooperate closely with the Special Rapporteur of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights on traditional practices affecting the health of women and the girl child, in particular by supplying all necessary information requested by her and by giving serious consideration to inviting her to visit their countries;

(ن) أن تتعاون عن كثب مع المقررة الخاصة للجنة الفرعية لتشجيع وحماية حقوق الإنسان المعنية بالممارسات التقليدية التي تؤثر في صحة المرأة والبنت، وبخاصة من خلال تزويدها بكل ما تطلبه من معلومات ضرورية والنظر بجدية في دعوتها لزيارة بلدانها؛

10. Calls upon all States to adopt all necessary measures to ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by children affected by disease and malnutrition, including protection from all forms of discrimination, abuse or neglect, in particular in the access to and provision of health care;

10 - تهيب بجميع الدول أن تتخذ جميع التدابير الضرورية لكفالة تمتع الأطفال الذين يعانون المرض وسوء التغذية بجميع ما لهم من حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية تمتعا كاملا وعلى قدم المساواة، بما في ذلك الحماية من جميع أشكال التمييز أو إساءة المعاملة أو الإهمال، وبخاصة في مجال إمكانية الحصول على الرعاية الصحية وتوفيرها؛

24. Urges the Government of Myanmar to promote and protect the human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS and guard against the marginalization and discrimination that they may experience and to ensure that the health-care system receives sufficient funding to enable health workers to provide the highest possible standard of health care;

24 - تحث حكومة ميانمار على تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان للأشخاص المصابين بفيروس نقص المناعة البشري/الإيدز، وعلى اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لحمايتهم مما قد يتعرضون له من تهميش وتمييز ولضمان التمويل الكافي لنظام الرعاية الصحية لتمكين العاملين الصحيين من توفير أعلى مستوى ممكن من الرعاية الصحية؛

8. Calls upon all States to adopt all necessary measures to ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by children affected by disease and malnutrition, including protection from all forms of discrimination, abuse or neglect, in particular in the access to and provision of health care;

8 - تهيب بجميع الدول أن تتخذ جميع التدابير الضرورية لضمان تمتع الأطفال الذين يعانون المرض وسوء التغذية بجميع ما لهم من حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية تمتعا كاملا وعلى قدم المساواة، بما في ذلك الحماية من جميع أشكال التمييز أو إساءة المعاملة أو الإهمال، وبخاصة في مجال إمكانية الحصول على الرعاية الصحية وتوفيرها؛

Conscious that the work done by the Agency in the field of nuclear sciences and applications in the non-power sector contributes to sustainable development, especially with programmes aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and food security, improving human health, increasing the availability of drinking water supplies and protecting the terrestrial and marine environment,

ووعيا منها بأن ما تنجزه الوكالة من أعمال في ميدان العلوم والتطبيقات النووية في القطاع غير المرتبط بالطاقة يسهم في التنمية المستدامة، ولا سيما فيما يختص بالبرامج الهادفة إلى تعزيز الإنتاجية الزراعية والأمن الغذائي، وتحسين صحة البشر، وزيادة توافر إمدادات مياه الشرب، وحماية البيئة البرية والبحرية،

(h) To take all necessary measures to empower women and strengthen their economic independence and protect and promote the full enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms in order to allow women and girls better to protect themselves from, inter alia, traditional or customary practices affecting the health of women and girls;

(ح) أن تتخذ كل التدابير الضرورية للتمكين للمرأة وترسيخ استقلاليتها الاقتصادية، وأن تحمي وتشجع التمتع التام بجميع حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية بغرض إتاحة الفرصة للمرأة والبنت كي تحميا نفسيهما على نحو أفضل إزاء أمور منها الممارسات التقليدية أو العرفية التي تؤثر في صحتهما؛

20. Calls upon all Afghan parties, in particular the Taliban, to bring an end without delay to all violations of human rights and discriminatory policies against women and girls and to recognize, protect and promote the equal rights and dignity of men and women, especially in the fields of education, work and equal health care;

20 - تهيب بجميع الأطراف الأفغانية، ولا سيما الطالبان، وضع حد دون إبطاء لجميع انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان والسياسات التمييزية ضد النساء والبنات، وإقرار وحماية وتعزيز الحقوق المتساوية للرجال والنساء وكرامتهم، لا سيما في ميادين التعليم والعمل والرعاية الصحية المتساوية؛

Noting also relevant paragraphs in recent reports of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on violence against women, its causes and consequences, the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions and the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the independence of judges and lawyers, and of the Special Rapporteur of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights on traditional practices affecting the health of women and the girl child,

وإذ تلاحظ أيضا الفقرات ذات الصلة من التقارير التي قدمتها مؤخرا المقررة الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعنية بمسألة العنف ضد المرأة وأسبابه وعواقبه()، والمقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعني بحالات الإعدام خارج النطاق القضائي أو بإجراءات موجزة أو الإعدام التعسفي()، والمقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعني باستقلال القضاة والمحامين()، والمقرر الخاص للجنة الفرعية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان بشأن الممارسات التقليدية التي تؤثر في صحة المرأة والطفلة()،

(d) Protecting persons in the legal, medical and health-care professions, the media and other related professions, and human rights defenders;

(د) حماية الأشخاص العاملين في المهن القانونية والطبية والصحية ووسائط الإعلام وغيرها من المهن ذات الصلة، والمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان؛

3. Emphasizes that, as underlined by the Human Rights Committee, restrictions on the freedom to manifest religion or belief are permitted only if limitations are prescribed by law, are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others, and are applied in a manner that does not vitiate the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion;

3 - تشدد على أنه لا يجوز، على نحو ما أكدته اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان، فرض قيود على حرية المجاهرة بالدين أو المعتقد إلا إذا كان القانون يقضي بذلك وكان ذلك ضروريا لحماية السلامة العامة أو النظام العام أو الصحة العامة أو الآداب العامة أو حقوق الآخرين وحرياتهم الأساسية ويطبق على نحو لا ينتقص من الحق في حرية الفكر والضمير والدين؛

6. 6 - تشدد على أنه لا يجوز، على نحو ما أكدته اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان، فرض قيود على حرية المجاهرة بالدين أو المعتقد إلا إذا كانت القيود المنصوص عليها في القانون ضرورية لحماية السلامة العامة أو النظام العام أو الصحة العامة أو الآداب العامة أو حقوق الآخرين وحرياتهم الأساسية، وكانت تطبق على نحو لا يبطل الحق في حرية الفكر والضمير والدين؛

14. Further emphasizes that, as underlined by the Human Rights Committee, restrictions on the freedom to manifest religion or belief are permitted only if limitations are prescribed by law, are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others, and are applied in a manner that does not vitiate the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion;

14 - تشدد كذلك على أنه لا يجوز، كما أكدته اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان، فرض قيود على حرية المجاهرة بالدين أو المعتقد إلا إذا كانت القيود منصوصا عليها في القانون، وكانت ضرورية لحماية السلامة العامة أو النظام العام أو الصحة العامة أو الآداب العامة أو حقوق الآخرين أو حرياتهم الأساسية، وكانت تطبق على نحو لا ينتقص من الحق في حرية الفكر والضمير والدين؛
