The plastic injection molding process is described in Section 11. The operator control problem is explained and the reasons for choosing a multiobjective problem formulation are given.A review of the important concepts in multiple-objective optimization is provided in Section 111.

In this section, a review of multiple-objective optimization is provided. Finally, the algorithm was used to tune the plastication controller on-line. A Motorola 68000-based microprocessor was used for data acquisition and control of an Arburg injection molding machine.
