When I see though, the way in which, in this little piece of land in Gaza, Palestinian police and security forces in their thousands are evidently incapable of preventing these Kassam rockets from being launched, I really do start to suspect that Israel is being provoked into staying put in Gaza.

Vi må ikke lade det løbe løbsk, for der er også folk i Israel, som ikke engang ønsker en tilbagetrækning fra Gaza, og heller ikke disse kræfter bør styrkes.

Når jeg imidlertid ser, at tusindvis af palæstinensiske politifolk og sikkerhedskræfter på dette lille stykke land i Gaza åbenbart ikke er i stand til at forhindre affyringen af Kassam-raketter, trænger den mistanke sig virkelig på hos mig, at Israels forbliven i Gaza ligefrem provokeres.
