abstract queues often are encountered in daily our life. a person has to be waiting although waiting is an activity that to need a time and unpleasant, moreover long queues for getting a services. each company makes the method in order to not too long for the consumers to wait. queuing system is an important factor in the business world because services. the application models of queuing can assist the management in designing pharmacy assistant pharmacist operating system, so that optimum in quality of services. this study is purposed to analyze the effectiveness of queuing theory and models, and also as well as optimization of service by using this theory. the types of data used quantitative data. a process this analysis is calculated by using the wps spreadsheet with the module waiting lines. primary data was collected through of interviews to the leaders or employees of pharmacy, by using judgment sampling. in this research is used the analysis of multiple lines queuing system (m/ m/ s). the result of this research to show how the performance of the exiting queuing system was not optimal, because it has a low level of utility facilities and low levels of activity assistant pharmacist. keywords : the optimization of services, assistant pharmacist, queuing theory, multy channel single phase (m/ m/ s).
