Reparcelling is generally considered as the rearrangement of parcels to improve farm structures and thus the economic viability of holdings. Under the Dutch RDP, this Article 33 indent is the financially most important measure. The lack of a detailed description in the Rural Development Regulation enables the Netherlands to use this indent as a means for the State to buy land for the purpose of nature development.
