Niniejsza norma ma zastosowanie do grochu przeznaczonego do łuskania, odmian wyhodowanych z Pisum sativym L., i grochu przeznaczonego do spożycia w strączkach lub grochu śnieżnego wyhodowanego z Pisum sativum L. var. macrocarpon oraz grochu cukrowego wyhodowanego z Pisum sativum L. var. saccharatum dostarczanego w stanie świeżym do konsumentów, z wyłączeniem grochu przeznaczonego do przetwórstwa przemysłowego.
