1. On 22 June 2006, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 [1] by which the undertakings Smithfield Foods Inc. ("Smithfields", EE.UU.) y Oaktree Capital Management LLC ("Oaktree", EE.UU.) adquieren el control conjunto, a tenor de lo dispuesto en la letra b) del apartado 1 del artículo 3 del citado Reglamento, de Sara Lee Foods Europe ("SLFE", Países Bajos) mediante la adquisición de acciones de una empresa a riesgo compartido de nueva creación.
