the arabian penisulapeninsular region, together with offshore islands, located in the extreme southwestern corner of Asia. The Arabian Peninsula is bounded by the Red Sea on the west and southwest, the Gulf of Aden on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south and southeast, and the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf (also called the Arabian Gulf) on the east. Geographically the peninsula and the Syrian Desert merge in the north with no clear line of demarcation, but the northern boundaries of Saudi Arabia and of Kuwait are generally taken as marking the limit of Arabia there.

President Benigno S. Aquino III delivered his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 28, 2014, in the Session Hall of the House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. The President started his speech with a famous and common Filipino saying “Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makakarating sa paroroonan” And he started recounting the miseries , chaos and problems of a very weak , unstable and poor Philippines at the start of his reign. He compared our country to wrecked house to be renovated yet no resources are available to do so. With humble hearts and sincere voice, the President presented the transformations , progress and peace his government had done and accomplished . The President's speech lasted for an hour and a half, focused on the Aquino administration's achievements. He even presented the beneficiaries and recipients of the so called “ tuwid na daan “ . Many of which are really true , but the desperate question of his “Boss” ( the Filipino people ) is “How many among the 90 million Filipinos felt the love and the compassion of the Aquino government ? How many are the chosen ones ? Many are still waiting, aiming , and hoping for the warmth and sincere touch of the government . The President is facing three impeachment complaints before the House of Representatives, two of which cited DAP as basis. What happened to the “tuwid na daan” ? What happened to the sincere governance? His BOSSES are in great confusion , who are telling the truth ? To whom will they believe? Are we still living ,after five years of Aquino government, in the country of lies and corruption? Towards the last part of his SONA, Aquino's voice broke and he appeared close to tears while recalling the memory of his parents, slain Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. and the late President Corazon Aquino. The President mentioned one of the famous lines of his father " the Filipino is worth dying for, the Filipino is worth living for, and he added , “the Filipino is definitely worth fighting for," In the midst of great distress , as the President got his lowest popularity ratings, as to add the three impeachment complaints against him ,he still manages to stand up , be firm in what he believes , in what he knows would bring the Philippines to the greatest success . In sincere humility , he appealed to be given the chance to go on and finished what he had started to bring his countrymen back to the “tuwid na daan” leading to a more economically stable , progressive and peaceful Philippines . Many had been published, many had been said , so may accusations, so many issues, so many confusions , your Boss is puzzled now .Mr. President , are you still our hero ? Are you still the President we used to dream of ? The Filipino people could not just believe in whatever you say now . Please show us how a good and sincere Aquino government could change and transforms our life. We couldn't see any light now, all we can witness is political war. political instability, one against the other. We need to see, witness and experience the real transformation .

Many years ago at the foot of a forest-covered hill was a small town, and just above the town on the hillside was a little house in which lived an old woman and her grandson. The old woman, who was very industrious, earned their living by removing the seeds from cotton and a long stick that she used for a spindle. The boy was lazy and would not do anything to help his grandmother, but every day went down to the town and gambled. Oone day, when he had been losing money, the boy went home and was cross because his supper was not ready. "I am hurrying to get the seeds out of this cotton," said the grandmother, "and as soon as I sell it, I will buy us some food." At this the boy fell into a rage, and he picked up some coconut shells and threw them at his grandmother. Then she became angry and began to whip him with her spindle, when suddenly he was changed into an ugly animal, and the cotton became hair which covered his body, while the stick itself became his tail. As soon as the boy found that he had become an ugly creature he ran down into the town and began whipping his companions, the gamblers, with his tail, and immediately they were turned into animals like himself. Then the people would no longer have them in the town, but drove them out. They went to the forest where they lived in the trees, and ever since they have been known as monkeys.[1]

Santos started her acting career when one of his uncles, who was a cameraman at Sampaguita Pictures, convinced her to try out for the movies. Initially, Sampaguita Pictures had planned a child star role for her in Anak, Ang Iyong Ina (1969) opposite Lolita Rodriguez and Gloria Romero. When Vilma was in the studio, she noticed a long line of little girls. Thinking that that line was the line for her audition, she decided to queue in. The long line turned out to be for an audition for Sampaguita Pictures' next offering Trudis Liit (Little Trudis). When it was her turn to audition, she was asked by the panel to sing, dance and cry on cue. She passed the audition with flying colors and got the part of "Trudis Liit". She acted with Connie Angeles and Bella Flores. During the next year's FAMAS Awards for the films of 1963, Vilma Santos, the accidental "Trudis Liit," became the first recipient of the Best Child Performer award from the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences. Vilma's FAMAS win boosted her chances for stardom, and as her talent was apparent, she was cast in dramatic films as daughter to various Sampaguita stars such as Gloria Romero, Rita Gomez, Lolita Rodriguez, Marlene Dauden, Luis Gonzales, among others in such box-office hits as Sa Bawat Pintig ng Puso (1964), Maria Cecilia (1965), Kasalanan Kaya? (1968). Vilma Santos played the role of Imee Marcos in the film, Iginuhit ng Tadhana (1965) and later in its sequel Pinagbuklod ng Langit (1969). During this time, Vilma started to build her fanbase and popularity, as she went on provincial tours for the promotion and publicity of her movies. Since then, Vilma Santos has established a solid and unrivaled fanbase all over the country. As a result, she has become the undisputed longest-reigning movie SUPERstar, in the truest meaning of the word, in the history of the Philippine movie industry--transcending generations, breaking socio-economic barriers, and reaching across and all political and religious persuasions. Vilma Santos' accomplishments as an artist are incomparable. She is a class act--a league all her own. No one among her contemporaries can parallel Vilma's achievements in her career as an actress, politician, wife, mother, sister, and daughter; and she has done so with integrity, humility and faith in God. Vilma Santos-Recto, the artist, the politician, the Filipino woman, is never the one to disappoint. Albeit, she continues to amaze and inspire.
