and for allah only are the hidden things of the heavens and the earth, and the matter of resurrection is not but like the batting of an eyelid – in fact closer than this; indeed allah is able to do all things.
மேலும், வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ள இரகசியம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது ஆகவே, (இறுதித் தீர்ப்புக்குரிய) வேலையின் விஷயம் இமை கொட்டி விழிப்பது போல் அல்லது (அதைவிட) சமீபத்தில் இல்லாமலில்லை; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாப் பொருட்களின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுள்ளவனாக இருக்கின்றான.

and of them is he who defameth thee in the matter of the alms. if they are given thereof they are content, and if they are not given thereof, behold! they are enraged.
(நபியே!) தானங்கள் விஷயத்தில் (பாரபட்சம் உடையவர்) என்று உம்மைக் குறை கூறுபவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு பங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் திருப்தியடைகின்றார்கள் - அப்படி அவற்றிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவில்லையானால், அவர்கள் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறார்கள்.

and to allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. and the matter of the hour is not but as a twinkling of the eye, or even nearer. truly! allah is able to do all things.

சில வருடங்களுக்குள்ளேயே! (இதற்கு) முன்னும், (இதற்கு) பின்னும், (வெற்றி தோல்வி குறித்த) அதிகாரம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குத்தான்; (ரோமர்கள் வெற்றி பெறும்) அந்நாளில் முஃமின்கள் மகிழ்வடைவார்கள்.

and ask thou them concerning the town that was close on the sea, when they transgressed in the matter of the sabt, when their fish came unto them openly on their sabt day, while they came not on the day whereon they kept not we proved them for the sabt. thus they were wont to transgress.
(நபியே!) கடற்கரையிலிருந்த (ஓர்) ஊர் மக்களைப்பற்றி நீர் அவர்களைக் கேளும் - அவர்கள் (தடுக்கப்பட்ட ஸப்து) சனிக்கிழமையன்று வரம்பை மீறி (மீன் வேட்டையாடி)க் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்; ஏனென்றால் அவர்களுடைய சனிக்கிழமையன்று (கடல்) மீன்கள், அவர்களுக்கு(த் தண்ணீருக்கு மேலே தலைகளை வெளியாக்கி)க் கொண்டு வந்தன - ஆனால் சனிக்கிழமையல்லாத நாட்களில் அவர்களிடம் (அவ்வாறு வெளியாக்கி) வருவதில்லை - அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த பாவத்தின் காரணமாக அவர்களை நாம் இவ்வாறு சோதனைக் குள்ளாக்கினோம்.
