Kirjalikud tollideklaratsioonid esitatakse vormis, mis vastab selleks ettenähtud ametlikule näidisele.

Declarations in writing shall be made on a form corresponding to the official specimen prescribed for that purpose.

Customs declarations (single administrative documents) are the main source of statistical information on trade in goods between the EU and non-member countries.

1. Artiklis 1 osutatud litsentside alusel toimuva impordiga seotud tollideklaratsioonid peavad lahtris 44 sisaldama järgmist märget:

1. Section 44 of customs declarations for imports carried out under import licences as referred to in Article 1 shall contain the following entry:

They shall be signed and contain all the particulars necessary for implementation of the provisions governing the customs procedure for which the goods are declared.

Declarations which comply with the conditions laid down in Article 62 shall be accepted by the customs authorities immediately, provided that the goods to which they refer are presented to customs.

Obligation to lodge pre-departure declaration1. Goods destined to leave the customs territory of the Community shall be covered by a pre-departure declaration lodged or made available at the competent customs office before the goods are to be brought out of the customs territory of the Community.

Whilst not accepting responsibility for the accuracy of customs declarations (e.g. form C 2/CP 3), postal authorities in the country of departure in principle check that customs declarations on postal items are, where appropriate, present, and as far as possible take steps to ensure that they are correctly and fully completed.

In such cases, the authorities should, where practicable, check the information from other independent sources at their disposal, such as published price lists, official import statistics and customs returns, and from the information obtained from other interested parties during the investigation.

1. Tollideklaratsioonid peavad sisaldama kõiki vajalikke andmeid seda tolliprotseduuri reguleerivate sätete kohaldamiseks, millele kaup on deklareeritud. 1. The customs authorities shall, under the conditions they lay down, authorize replacement products to be imported before the defective goods are exported.In the event of such prior importation of a replacement product, a guarantee shall be provided covering the amount of the import duties that would be payable should the defective goods not be exported in accordance with paragraph 2.
