die Überprüfung des absorptionsverhaltens im uv-bereich ist bei wellenlängen von 270 nm, 280 nm, 297 nm, 320 nm und 340 nm möglich. standardmäßig wird die dicke des filters bei der fertigung so eingestellt, dass sich bei 340 nm eine absorption von ca. 0,5 a ergibt. in der folge steigen die absorptionswerte mit kürzer werdender wellenlänge bis auf ca. 1,5 a bei 270 nm an.
