1. Am 29. September 2006 ist die Anmeldung eines Zusammenschlussvorhabens gemäß Artikel 4 der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 139/2004 des Rates [1] bei der Kommission eingegangen. Danach ist Folgendes beabsichtigt: Das Unternehmen FleetCor Technologies Inc. ("FleetCor", USA) erwirbt im Sinne von Artikel 3 Absatz 1 Buchstabe b der Ratsverordnung die alleinige Kontrolle bei Česká společnost pro platební karty a.s. ("CCS", Czech Republic) durch Erwerb von Anteilen.

Die durch Echokardiographie beobachtete Reduktion der LV-Masse bei männlichen wie weiblichen Fabry-Patienten über einen Zeitraum von 24 bis 36 Monaten Replagal-Behandlung war mit einer bedeutenden Symptomverbesserung verbunden, gemessen nach der NYHA-bzw. der CCS-Klassifikation bei Fabry-Patienten mit schwerer Herzinsuffizienz oder Angina-Symptomen zu Behandlungsbeginn.

The reductions in LV mass observed by echocardiography in both male and female Fabry patients over 24 to 36 months of Replagal treatment were associated with meaningful symptom improvement as measured using the NYHA and CCS in Fabry patients with severe heart failure or anginal symptoms at baseline.
