Dietr., Pinus L., Pseudotsuga Carr. und Tsuga Carr. mit Ursprung in Portugal durchgeführt wurden, ergab sich bei keiner analysierten Probe ein Positivbefund für den Kiefernfadenwurm.

(3) In official surveys carried out in 2002 by the other Member States on wood, isolated bark and plants of Abies Mill., Cedrus Trew, Larix Mill., Picea A. Dietr., Pinus L., Pseudotsuga Carr. and Tsuga Carr., originating in Portugal, none of the samples taken and analysed tested positive for the presence of the PWN.

(3) Zuletzt im November 2004 durchgeführte Untersuchungen des Lebensmittel-und Veterinäramts sowie von Portugal vorgelegte zusätzliche Informationen und amtliche Untersuchungen, die von den anderen Mitgliedstaaten an Holz, loser Rinde und Pflanzen von Abies Mill., Cedrus Trew, Larix Mill., Picea A. Dietr., Pinus L., Pseudotsuga Carr. und Tsuga Carr. vorgenommen wurden, deuten darauf hin, dass die Ausbreitung des Kiefernfadenwurms dank der Anwendung des portugiesischen Tilgungsprogramms noch auf die abgegrenzten Gebiete in Portugal beschränkt ist. Bei Untersuchungen in diesen Gebieten wurden jedoch noch immer Bäume mit Anzeichen für den Befall durch diesen Schadorganismus festgestellt.

(3) On the basis of assessments by the Food and Veterinary Office, most recently in November 2004, additional information submitted by Portugal and official surveys carried out by the other Member States on wood, isolated bark and plants of Abies Mill., Cedrus Trew, Larix Mill., Picea A. Dietr., Pinus L., Pseudotsuga Carr. and Tsuga Carr., it appears that as a result of the application of an eradication programme in Portugal, the spread of PWN remains limited to the demarcated areas in Portugal. However, trees showing symptoms of infestation by PWN were still found during surveys of those areas.
