dr. tobias taetzner: pwc has created a methodology to determine this – the total tax contribution (ttc) model. this model offers a uniform approach to identify the total tax contribution made by a business by taking into account all forms of corporate taxation, irrespective as to whether these are visible in financial reports or hidden in other items of expenditure (for example, electricity tax or insurance tax), as well as other duties that are paid to the state. the client can use this overview in external communications and can also use it to benchmark the amount of its tax payments and the cost of its tax department to those of other companies.
