1. L'esame minimo per il materiale vegetativo (tuberi, piantine e talee, comprese micropiante) consiste in un esame sierologico realizzato al momento o in prossimità della fioritura per ciascuno degli organismi nocivi specificatamente elencati diversi dal potato spindle tuber viroid, seguito da un esame biologico del materiale che ha dato esito negativo all'esame sierologico. Per il virus dell'accartocciamento debbono essere effettuate due prove sierologiche.

1. The minimum testing for vegetative material (tubers, young plants and cuttings, including micro-plants) shall include a serological test done at or near flowering for each of the specified list of harmful organisms other than potato spindle tuber viroid, and followed by a biological test of material testing negative in the serological test. For potato leaf roll virus, two serological tests shall be done.
