Per parecchio tempo poco frequentato, ha visto aumentare notevolmente i suoi visitatori con la creazione al suo interno di una zona umida estesa per circa 1 ettaro; qui sono facilmente osservabili centinaia di uccelli acquatici (Fistioni turchi, moriglioni, volpoche, casarche, oche selvatiche, fischioni, ecc) oltre a numerosi altri animali caratteristici delle nostre acque.

For a long time the number of visitors to the park was quite small, but numbers have increased significantly since the creation of a wetland area inside the park covering about 1 hectare. Here you can see hundreds of water birds (pochards, red-crested pochards, common shelducks, ruddy shelducks, greylag geese, Eurasian wigeons, etc.) as well as numerous other species of wetland wildlife found in Italy.

Istituito nel 1984 per tutelare l'ambiente della brughiera, caratteristico del pianalto lombardo, che. alternato ad aree umide, è habitat ideale per mammiferi e uccelli.

Nel 1971, nella città iraniana di <PROTECTED>, i rappresentanti di alcuni paesi sottoscrissero un trattato internazionale noto come Convenzione di <PROTECTED>, che dichiarava l'importanza delle zone umide e ne sanciva la tutela; riconosceva agli uccelli acquatici migratori lo status di risorsa internazionale, in considerazione dei loro spostamenti stagionali transnazionali.

In 1971, in the Iranian city of <PROTECTED>, the representatives of some countries signed an international treaty known as the <PROTECTED> Convention which stated the importance of wetlands and sanctioned their protection. It also recognized aquatic migratory birds as an international resource in consideration of their transnational seasonal migrations.
