Whereas the Commonwealth of Australia has agreed, in the context of GATT, to allow imports of soft ripened cheeses, Roquefort, Stilton and cheeses from goats' milk free of any quantitative restrictions;

Roquefort cheese is made in accordance with the regulation of 29 July 1925 published in "Journal officiel de la République française" of 30 July 1925 and labelled as "Roquefort" by the "Confédération générale des producteurs de lait de brebis et des industriels de Roquefort".

Roquefort cheeses must be made in accordance with the standards laid down in the law of 29 July 1925 published in the "Journal officiel de la République française" of 30 July 1925 and must be labelled as "Roquefort" by the "Confédération générale des producteurs de lait de brebis et des industriels de Roquefort".

(10) F’konformità ma'l-Artikolu 9 tar-Regolament (KEE) Nru 2081/92, Franza għamlet talba, b’rabta ma'l-isem "Roquefort", reġistrat bħala denominazzjoni ta'l-oriġini protetta bir-Regolament (KE) Nru 1107/96, biex din temenda d-deskrizzjoni, il-metodu tal-produzzjoni, l-ittikkettjar u l-kriterji nazzjonali.

(10) In accordance with Article 9 of Regulation (EEC) No 2081/92, France has requested in respect of the name "Roquefort", registered as a protected designation of origin by Regulation (EC) No 1107/96, the amendment of the description, the method of production, the labelling and the national requirements.
